Good value for 42″ ceiling fan. Improves airflow in small areas
Ordered this 42″ ceiling fan to install in a kitchen. Due to cabinet locations, a 52″ fan would be too big for this area.Fan was relatively easy to install. Steps are similar to many fans from large hardware stores. Screws on the existing ceiling junction box were 2 3/4″ apart and the fan mounting bracket assumes a more common 3 1/2″ spacing. A crossbar adapter is not included, so just drilled an additional hole in the mounting bracket center bar to support the shorter offset. Flush mount is not supported but the shorter 5″ down-rod is fine for 8 foot ceilings. Electrical connections are straightforward. The 3 power cables colored black, white and green go to the corresponding hot, neutral and ground cables in the junction box. Each set of internal fan cables uses different connectors to prevent connection errors. Motor is not heavy so one person can do the whole installation.Fan worked very well. It made the kitchen more comfortable even when the stove and oven were on. Fan docs don’t list an airflow CFM spec, but the “6” level provides very good airflow for a 42″ fan. Noise from the DC motor is relatively low even at the higher speed settings. Light color can be set to warm white (3000K), natural white (4000K) or daylight (6500K). Design is simple but modern.Overall, this 42″ ceiling fan is a good value to improve airflow in small areas.

Great product but light is very bright
Great product and price. Only complaint is how offensively bright the light is. Like being in a dept store. Light is adjustable but still hard on the eyes. My son doesnât mind.

Wish light switch could be used vs remote
Was not too difficult to install.Perfect for small to medium rooms, low profile, design is aesthetically pleasing. Use of remote is necessary.I only wish i could use the light switch to turn on lights and remote for color of lights and fan speed.After resetting the fan/light a few times using the light switch, I mounted my remote holder above light switch to prevent accidentally flupping switch on or off.Wondered why light was on one day in evening as had not been in room in days (guest room of home not usd often) and only solution we can think is the power surge/flash from outside transformer few dsys ago had reset the lights. So check to make sure your doesnt go on after power outage.

Remote does not pair per instructions.
Bought three of these for a rental. Had an electrician install all 3 but none of them work. The light turns on but the fans will not spin, nor work with the remote. Have tried everything possible and nothing. Do not buy this product!

Perfect fan for small spaces
I strated by buying one fan for our landing area and loved it some much I bought two more for our other bedrooms. They were so easy to put together. We put all three up in a matter of 1 hour. The remote control is super easy to use. Very lightweight. It even came with a wall mount for all three. The air flow is incredible. It does have controlled speeds on the remote. There’s absolutely no noise and it looks stunning.

Fan looks and works great (though the light is a bit glaring). But the instructions for programming the remote were garbage. Found the solution online though: if it isn’t working out of the box, you can connect the remote by turning the switch off for 10 seconds, then turning back on and holding down the bluetooth button in the middle (looks like a wifi symbol for some reason) for 5 seconds. Then it works.

This fan was super easy to put up and looked great, was also supper quiet, LED dimmable lights in 3 colors and remote control. After I installed these 2, ordered 1 more for another room.

This is a nice fan, smaller than I anticipated but that’s my fault for not paying attention. Installation was rather easy, but I could not get the control box in so I have to bend the bracket a bit. Not a huge deal but it was a little frustrating at the time. It runs smooth and is very quiet.
