This item has to be assembled. The arms slide onto the seat area of the sofa with metal brackets. The metal brackets would not stay on on one side of the sofa, hence making the sofa unusable. The sofa is nice enough and comfortable though a little short in the seat area . And the peacock blue is a beautiful color! I sent the seller a note asking them to pay the return as the sofa is defective. I’m still waiting to hear back from them. Will update after shipping.UPDATE! Seller resolved all issues with shipping and return of sofa. Again it’s comfortable enough and the peacock blue is beautiful. Just couldn’t get the arm to stay on.

I ordered two of these for my new home. Beautiful genuine leather sofa for the price. The cushions are extra firm but comfortable to me. Sturdy construction so far. The sofa was assembled professionally, which ultimately added to the cost, but the cost was still less through Amazon than other sellers.
