Many Parts, But Not Super Hard To Put Together – Is Smaller Than It Looks In Photos
The NOVIMANGO Coffee Table with drawers is a nice, budget table for those who need something to sit in front of their small couch or love seat.Out of the box, the parts are all individually wrapped to include the screws. I like that the screws are individually bagged as this makes it impossible to use the wrong screws.It is pretty intuitive how this goes together which is good because the instruction photos are REALLY small. I was able to tell what screws to use, but when it came to orientation of parts, I kind of had to guess and I ended up having to take apart two of the pieces because I had put them in backwards. In addition I had to take off the slotted tray in order to install the wood panels so they should put the installation of this part last.The manufacturer gives you an allen wrench / phillips screwdriver tool which is really all you need to put the table together. Truth be told, I would have rather had a double-sided allen wrench and used my own screwdriver because putting the screws into the shelving handles with that tiny tool was nigh impossible. In addition, you need a double-sided allen wrench to put in screws in various configurations. I’ve seen Chinese manufacturers do this in the past, but if an American doesn’t have at least one screwdriver at home, there is something wrong with them. Another note is not to over tighten the screws into the wood panels – this will pull the nut out and bulge the wood.It is smaller than I had anticipated. I have a 6 ft long couch and this thing looks like a postage stamp in front of it. So my suggestion is you read the product description, see that its 35″ long, get a tape measure and figure out how big that would be in front of your couch so you aren’t surprised.Overall its a nice coffee table for a dorm or small apartment or something like that. It isn’t flimsy, the metal parts are square tube construction, but they are strong when assembled and the wood panels for the top are 1″ thick and sturdy. $35 for this seems to be about right. It is made of medal, instead of pressed board as alot of other bargain table are made of, but it is kind of small.
