The back is bowed backwards too far so there’s no back support, if you lean backwards you go back much farther than I prefer on dining chairs (e.g. on our current set). The chairs are also very wobbly because the front and back foot pads are of different heights. The back legs just have a preattached piece of foam while the front legs have a screw on adjustable pad with another piece of foam on top. Even when screwed all the way down the front legs are slightly higher than the back so the chair wobbles diagonally. Also the foam pads on the front legs come off very easily, they just add to the height differential so they’re completely useless. On our current chairs all the legs have attachable pads of equal height and they never wobble.
