Used this at a lake party (I forgot it was colour changing) – all of a sudden it was changing colour – people were so amazing – I was using it to keep the bugs away – the great colour changing was a bonus! HUGE bonus

Super happy and impressed ð
To start, i VERY rarelyreview products, good or bad. But this one I wanted to so bad!When I opened it package I was a little confused because I remembered the candle said it was LED, but there were no buttons. Looked at the package again, and still confused, but thought I’d try it out anyway. I may be silly here, but when I say I was mind blown and impressed by whatever simple technology they use, I mean it, lol. When I lit the candle it immediately lit up with colors! … Then blew it out, to see what would happen… colors went off! I’m am so excited about how the LEDS work on here (as it saves battery life on its own when not in use, and auto activated with fire type heat, not the hot outside heat) But also, the smell of citronella is fragrant and strong. I am an outside girl and it’s been burning for about 3 hours now. Not a single mosquito in sight and before I got this, I was being eaten up. So far a happy girl and I feel like it deserved a happy review! Personally recommend

Got more bites with it than without it
Don’t buy it.I fell victim to believing what I read on the internet. It said this was the best.They LIED.I was bothered by a few skeeters, so I bought this. It arrived a couple days later. I was so excited! I ripped the package open and immediately lit the candle, fully expecting all nearby skeeters to scream in terror and fly away. Unbeknownst to me, these skeeters were a lot tougher than I thought. Apparently, they’d been having regular meetings, organizing a massive attack upon my person.They hovered around the edges of the candle area for mere seconds before dive bombing my legs. I swiftly grabbed my spray bottle of water and dawn dish soap, which kills them quickly. I began to spray my entire body and the area around me.Skeeters dropped like bricks as I spun in a circle while quickly pumping out foamy sprays and screaming, “say hello to my lil friend!”They kept coming, driven toward the flame of the candle, and then pivoting and attacking me.The battle didn’t last long bc I retreated inside my house.The skeeters congratulated themselves for a battle well fought and won.The candle was still burning so the skeeters all sat around the rim and began to regale each other with their tales of battle.I spent the next hour rubbing itchy cream all over my body.Don’t buy this.-Mek’s wife

Glad to have this
Very durable candle with hanger. Kept bugs away while we sat to enjoy the sunsets with our meals. The size and burn time is a good value.

This candle doesn’t burn so brightly…
This is a nice candle in a nice glass container. Unfortunately, it A) is not citronella scented, and per mfr’s website is Not a Repellent!! This fact was Not Advertised on Amazon. This would be the main reason for its purchase! B) it also does not have any LEDs in it, or on it… Thus it does Not Change Colors, which was part of the draw as well. While a nice candle, it seems to have been incorrectly classified, and advertised… Shame on Coleman’s advertising team!! This is the first time I’ve been unhappy with any of Coleman’s products, been buying from them for years. For the price I’ll keep it but it sure isn’t what I thought it would be!!

Cute
Lovely little candle and works well for the size. Unfortunately the LED lights no longer work after two weeks. We have had a very hot summer so maybe they got overheated.
