Just BUY THIS ONE. It is PERFECT.
As a writer, I tend to sit in bed and write a lot. Hunching over my work was giving me pain in my neck and shoulders. My back was unhappy, too. Then I got this table.First, let me say it is BIG. They werenât kidding when they named it the XXL Mega Table. I have a 12.9â iPad (biggest one they make) and its stand has an easel that I use a lot. I can stand up my iPad, and still have plenty of room for a notebook. Resting my elbows at the front edge, my fingertips barely reach the back edge (I am not a small person). Itâs just that big. I have plenty of legroom and itâs wide enough for me to sit under it quite comfortably.Secondly, this thing is built very sturdy. Strong. The legs are metal and fold out and snap solidly into place. Theyâre not going anywhere. You certainly donât have to worry about it collapsing on you while you work.I like the drawer. It closes and snaps into place underneath the table. You could easily sit a can of soda or a coffee mug there. Iâll be keeping pens and such in it since it closes completely and nothing can fall out when you close it.The stand comes off and stores away neatly. I might need it for a book, or something. With the stand off, thereâs a groove where you can stand up a tablet or a phone. The groove is lined with something like silicone, that will grip and hold whatever you stand up there. (In the drawer, thereâs a similar groove for your phone, with the same gripping feature.) The people that designed this table thought of small details like that, to make it solid and user-friendly.The surface is slightly rough, so it wonât show marks or fingerprints. It has a smooth front edge, though, to make it feel good on your wrists/hands if youâre working in the front.It will be easy to wipe off to keep clean. I can imagine a child using this to eat or play on while sitting on the floor.To sum it up â¦ see the title of my review.

Perfect as a nursing student!!
I love the aesthetic of the wood, it matches beautifully with my room. Super compact for storage when not using. It is very sturdy and made of high quality materials. There is a LOT of room. This was my biggest concern when buying a desk for my bed. I have a lot of books and resources I use when studying and wanted something big enough to fit everything. I also love the pull out cup holder / pen holder on the side. It was pricer than some other options, but I prefer to spend a little more if Iâm going to be using it every day.

No regrets
Iâve had this for about 3 months now. So far so good. Itâs been holding up well and has been pretty durable so far. I purposely waited a few months to write a review.What I like:First Iâll mention that I am a woman and Iâm about 5â4âI do like the height. Some people say itâs too tall, but I wonder how they are sitting when using this. If youâre slouched back at an angle, this may be too tall for your purposes. If youâre sitting up relatively straight, I donât think youâll mind the height.I like being able to rest my arms in the table. To me, it makes it a hell of a lot easier, particularly if Iâm using this table not just with my laptop, but with a notebook and Iâm writing.I chose this table, so when Iâm using it on my bed, my cat can lay underneath it on my legs, or next to them, since it is wide enough to accommodate a good deal of leg space underneath.For me, this height is perfect and I like that it is fixed. I donât want to worry about the legs potentially not being able to maintain its height if I had chosen a table with adjustable legs.I also do appreciate the slot to hold a tablet. I would, however, recommend taking your iPad, or whatever tablet you use out of the slot before you move this table. Particularly if you are not on a flat surface (like a bed). It wonât necessarily stay in the slot if you keep your tablet in while moving the table.I like the drawer. I like to put things in there while Iâm using the table, but I tend to take them out before I fold up the legs to put the table away when Iâm done.The rope handle is great, but I would have put it against the top or bottom sides instead of the left side. For those of us who arenât that tall, it would make it easier to carry up and down the stairs, especially when carrying multiple things.I do actually like the book stand, I havenât used it much, but it comes in handy when typing up handwritten notes into my computer to keep the pages of the journal open. That being said, I mainly use it when Iâm sitting at an actual table and not using this desk itself. I just take it out of its holder underneath the desk.I like that there is no cup holder on the surface of the desk. Some people may like that, but I think that it is 1) asking for trouble when youâre using expensive electronics and 2) depending on the type, it takes up valuable surface space on the tabletop. Iâve noticed that with the portable laptop desks that include it on the actual surface, it tends to be removable, but it leaves an open hole if you take it out. For me, it was an unnecessary feature.If you do need a cup holder, the little pull-out drawer does double duty for that purpose as well.I should also not that I like the inclusion of a slot to hold your cell phone in the drawer, though it could easily fit in the tablet slot too.What I wish was included:I wish the legs themselves actually locked into place and a bit of force was needed to fold them back down.If you try to slide this desk on an uneven surface (again, such as a bed), the legs wonât necessarily stay in place and could start to fold in. The workaround, of course, is to pick it up and move it, but that is not possible sometimes, unless you take everting off of it first.I also wish that there was some kind of lip around the bottom and sides to help prevent things from sliding off the top. The surface of the table is smooth, and things will slide off of the top if youâre not careful when moving the table.That being said, overall, itâs a 5/5.If, however things change, I will update this review.

Bedside buddy.
Post-surgery game-changer! This table kept me comfortable & entertained. Spacious iPad stand, drawer & eating space. A little tall for my size, but depending on your height should be perfect for sitting up. Itâs super sturdy. Iâm not allowed to lift more than 5 pounds so itâs heavy and someone needs to set it up . Folds easily.

High quality, very solid.
Love this portable lap/bed/floor desk. The surface area is large and comfortably fits a 15 inch laptop, along with a book or writing materials. Or holds a full meal. The writing surface easily wipes clean and is smooth so you can write without bumpy distortion on your paper. The leg support is the full width of the table and very solid; there is no wobbling. Overall, very solid quality, and easy to use, fold or store. Improvement would be to make the feet less pointed and more rounded so they donât poke into the fabric of the bed or chair. All that said, itâs pretty much what I was looking for, the overall best I could find and very useful, but I do believe itâs overpriced.

Love this!
This is a nice size, very sturdy and will be very useful.It is large enough for my MacBook Pro and mouse. Possibly my keyboard, too.The best part IMO is that I didn’t have to put anything together – it came completely assembled!I didn’t notice a height adjustment, but it’s a good height for working from the couch or bed, or just relaxing and reading a book, etc

I LOVE this huge Mega Table! It’s so big that I couldn’t really get a pic of the whole thing; my room is to small, lolol. I use it for everything, but especially for doing art in my room. I do have a little art nook in the attic but the lighting is bad and there’s no air conditioner. This giant table lets me play with watercolor paint in the comfort of my well lit, air conditioned bedroom during the heatwave. I record videos in the only quiet room in the house thanks to this table, lol. It is huge, sturdy, nice looking, and it has a detachable book stand, a tablet slot (also great for keeping pens and paint brushes) and a little rope handle. The legs don’t flip down on themselves by accident like the ones on my smaller table do. I love this thing, and got it on sale to boot! I do have a video unboxing this on my Youtube channel if you’re interested; CraftyKat is my name there. Not sure if we’re allowed to add links.

This table is fantastic specially when I want to work sitting on the carpet or maybe watching a movie on Netflix while having dinner. It’s pretty large and very strong material and easy to store away will not needed. I got one for myself for my work which was a black one and now getting one for my kids for the study, a white one.
