The drill pack clearly list in its description, that the drill pack does not come with a battery or charger. I thought that was no big deal since I have numerous 20v batteries for my DeWalt equipment. As I found out, the DeWalt batteries will not fit with this drill. You will need a Jovant 20v battery and charger to operate this drill. Now, I am not sure if other batteries are completable, I only have DeWalt equipment. The item description does say you can use Makita 18v battery packs with the drill. This drill is a light to medium duty drill. The top rpm of this drill is 1500. Heavy duty drills work around 2000 to 2500rpm. The drill is a nice compact size and slightly smaller than my other drills. The drill pack comes loaded. The carrying case is nice and heavy canvas material. With the pack you get drill bits of various sizes, bit set, square socket adapter bit, flexible drill bit extension and instruction book. The overall feel and look of this drill is good quality. Time will tell how it holds up during work loads. For light to medium work, I feel this will be a good tool. The Jovant battery and charger run about 30 dollars.

I am over the moon with this kit. Although it does not come with a battery, I purchased one later before review of the same brand, it comes packed with so many goodies that I giggled like a kid in a toy store. For starters, the accessories that came with the bundle are numerous and are extremely useful and practical. It’s THE perfect set for the DIYers. The drill feels good in hand and, with what little battery I had left before my charger arrives, is very strong in torque. Assembling and disassembling furniture was an absolute joy. I have officially replaced my more expensive popular name brand drill with it, which was a 12v. The brushless motor sounds like heaven to my ears!
