I re-stained the open plan hardwood stairs a lovely red cedar colour which according to my wife made them too dark. The stairs were uncarpeted before (another contentious point) so I bought the Homeer treads (and pads) to lighten the stairs. The difference is amazing. These 5 star reviews don’t happen by accident as, I did a lot of research before buying them and am pleased to report that they look great. Colour slip resistance, and thickness were excellent. Don’t worry about getting the backing off it’s dead easy using a hair drier to release the backing.

Stair treads
Peeling backing off back was good ,took little time. . Great instructions . Sticks easily , looks great , great for dog .soft . Light weight, but enough . . Easily peels off when needed

Exactly what I needed!
I bought these for a set of indoor wooden stairs that my elderly Labrador was having trouble navigating at my parents house when they would dog sit. The package arrived quickly and the stair pads are much higher quality than I expected! Extremely soft, extremely easy to install, no fluff or shedding, and function perfectly: they stay in place for the dog to go up and down the steps. No slips! The color is neutral and blends in with the house. Once I returned from my trip, I offered to remove the pads but my parents like them so much they stayed on the steps! But if I wanted, I could peel them away and store them for the next visit. Love these! Would buy again!

Looks great, highly recommend.
Iâve had this product for a few months now, and itâs been amazing! The quality is excellent, and the lightweight design makes it easy to use. The non-slip material works perfectly, and it functions great overall. Itâs also super easy to vacuum, which is a big plus!

Nice quality, soft & they don’t move
For the price, I’m pleasantly surprised at the quality of these and the fact that they do indeed stay and don’t move even when vacuuming.Great quick fix solution for a home we’re renting temporarily, though if I’d have them in home if I needed them. They look nice and more expensive than they are.

Yes they can be washed in washing machine.
I love them, they stick well and can be washed in a washing machine. I washed mine after 4 months. Shake them out before washing. I washed them in COLD, Quick wash cycle, regular tide detergent, NO softener. Dry them on medium, no dryer sheets, for 10 minutes and then check every 5 minutes afterward. I damp-dried them and then hung them to dry the rest of the way on a drying rack in my garage. I have also dried them until they were fully dried, but I would keep checking on them so I did not over-dry them.The sticky silicon on the back will probably be covered in sand (dirt particles) and lint after washing and drying. Use a tape lint roller to remove anything stuck to the silicon after washing.This also happened to a couple of my treads while they were on the stairs if we tripped on them. Fur and dust eventually took over the sticky part. We used a tape lint roller on the back and they stuck right back on. These are worth the price, are made well, and stand up well to a crazy dog and kids!We bought the small landing rug also, it’s my favorite and makes it all come together and look great!
