This bed definitely did not meet my expectations. After reading several reviews, I thought it was worth the risk. However, I was disappointed because I didn’t need a new bed; I just wanted something nicer than what I had. I paid a handyman to set it up for me, and when I entered the room, I was very disappointed. The cushions in the back are flat, very thin, not full, and not firm. They are also very high up. You definitely need four or more pillows to cover the empty space. The bottom part of the headboard is also held together by nothing but velcro, and it does not lie flat or stay in place. In short, this is not an upgrade of any kind unless you don’t have a headboard or bed. If my other bed hadn’t already been wrapped and stored in my garage, I would have paid again to reinstall it and donated this one instead.
