If you’re looking for lightweight, softness and comfort; don’t get this. If you like a more rough and natural fiber and look; go for it. I felt the price might be a little steep but no regrets here.

I love this plaid throw so much that I bought 2. I put one at the end of my bed on top of a cream-colored coverlet and it absolutely “pops”. The other one is in my living room on a ladder rung. I had been looking for a black plaid or checked throw but could only find black and “white”, which was too bright. Then I found this one and the “tan” in it is more like an off-white, or cream color. They are very rich looking and made very well.

When it first came in, it smelled a little funky… So I threw it in the washer with some Purel and some fabric softener, then dried it in the dryer…and man, it’s wonderful! I love the color, it has some weight. It’s plenty soft enough, and the price was unbeatable for the quality.

This is not soft like my indoor blankets but it’s perfect for outdoor use! It’s perfect for sitting next to a fire with your bestie! No awful smell right out of the package. No wrinkles. Feels like burlap but a little softer. Great for Fall nights outdoors! I’ll be buying another.

Absolutely love the pattern, color, and weight of this blanket. I even don’t mind that it’s not soft because it looks great with the material it is hanging on the back of my sofa! I just would never use it to cover up with. Would be great as an outdoor blanket to use for picnics and such. I didn’t have a bad smell that others mentioned, I even put my nose up to it to smell and I smell nothing.
