The wood is a little darker than in the description pictures which is exactly what I was looking for! This is a fairly heavy set. Looks to all be real hardwood. The distressing is a little odd because it looks more of an accident because there is very random spots of distress. It also comes with the floor protectors on the bottom of the chairs and table to help prevent scratches. It’s was easy to put together and I love it! Definitely recommend!

I was so impressed with this table and chairs and their quality that I bought the matching bar stools for the kitchen counter. They look like they will last a very long time, even though my family with teenagers are rough on furniture. Nice wood, distressed white paint is not too distressed but good to hide future chips and scratches. We love it!

Went together pretty easy until I got to the second set of chairs which were drilled wrong. We contacted the seller and they did offer to send us parts to the chair. Honestly that is a hassle. I modified the chairs to get them together. All of the chairs were poorly made. They had glue that wasn’t cleaned off and was simply painted over and other sections that were not painted at all. Poor craftsmanship and definitely not worth the money. Do yourself a favor and go to a furniture store and avoid this table set that has an American name on the box with poorly crafted furniture from Malaysia inside.
