Bad remote
We love the look of the fan but the remote only works part of the time . When it decides to work the fan is great.

Air outflow
Installation wasnât too bad and air output is decent as well. Quality is nice and gives off good lighting. Appearance is acceptable with being in hid away utility room.

Wow! This thing is really neat!
This isn’t your usual, run of the mill ceiling fan. It has a bit of a rustic look, and Edison style light bulbs really bring the whole thing together.That’s where anything remotely old-timey comes to an end. This fan is firmly planted in the future.Installing it is really easy, and I don’t think anyone who can at least turn off a breaker should even be slightly intimidated by this. It comes with everything you need, including a S-hook to hold the fan up while you wire it, and even a pair of cloth white gloves. Just plug in the remote receiver, hook black to black, white to white, and screw the green ground screw in with the included wire nuts, and you’re all set.The only thing you might want to think about is whether you are ok with using a remote, instead of light switches to turn the fan on and off. Our old fan was wired to two switches, one for the light, and the other to start the fan. I didn’t mind switching to the remote, so I just capped the red wire, and wrapped it in electrical tape. We mounted the remote in its holder clip thingy near the old light switch.When you turn it on for the first time, the fan winds up, and the blades actually come out of the top of it. It’s really cool looking. There are forward and reverse buttons, 6 speeds, and even a timer, so the fan will turn off later, all by itself.Don’t let its smaller size fool you. On settings 5 and 6, it was blowing pictures off of our refrigerator. This thing is plenty powerful.The light function doesn’t have nearly as many bells and whistles, but screw in three 60 watt bulbs, and it gives off more than enough light. The directions call for E26 bulbs. They basically have the same base as a regular light bulb. Just be conscious of the fact the bulbs can’t be too long, or they won’t fit under the cage. There’s no dimming function that I can see, so you can buy any old bulb.Get out of the past, and be the envy of all of your friends! The future of ceiling fans is now! Buy this!

Looks exactly as pictured. Probably best for a smaller room or hallway.
Circulation was adequate for the 10 x 10 bedroom this was placed in. Everything worked as expected and itâs quite entertaining to watch the blades spin out.
