It will cut your finger right off!!
I love to eat, however, I hate to be in the kitchen. I hate cooking. Luckily, my hubby takes care of most of the cooking. When I DO help out, I used this Cuisinart knife set. It is the best set we have ever had. Sturdy, and sharp. I was able to cut through watermelon and hard vegetables with relative ease. I’m not one to praise kitchen utensils–but this one was worth the buy and highly recommend.

Prep knives have full tang; steak knives do not
Decent set for the price. The block looks nice, and the prep knives all have full tangs. The steak knives feel very cheap. We cut one in half; the rivets are real but the knife handle is pure plastic (not full tang). We’re keeping the block and prep knives but have purchased a separate set of steak knives and will most likely throw these steak knives away.

Perfect sharp set that doesn’t rust
These were a gift for my mom; a replacement for the awful, plastic Farberware set I purchased. Cuisinart is a great brand and these don’t disappoint. I was skeptical looking at other reviews, but after 2 months, these are still in perfect condition. There is no rust at all and they’re put in the dishwasher. They’re sturdy, extremely sharp and look fantastic on the counter. After several uses, the sharpener is used and cutting things like soft tomatoes is a breeze. The handles could be a little more solid or heavy, but I have to believe that it was designed this way for ease in holding.

Great knives for the price
For this price, you should not be expecting professional quality knives. However for the price, these knives are very good for a normal home cook. All of the knives came with a good edge on them. No nicks or chips in the blades. They seem pretty light weight, especially the steak knives. Would have been nice if they could have filled the handles with something to make them feel more high quality though. That aside, there is a really good variety of knives for a starter or replacement knife set.

Excellent quality
These knifes are amazing! I had a set for several years (to be exact at least 12 years) and now that I got a new one I realized how bad my knifes were. Recommend these ones 100%!
