Wood knife block is lovely. Nice neutral tones of beige and taupe brown. Knives have a great feel to them with some heft when held. Very sharp edges with handsome handles. Great complement to stainless steel cookware and looks great out on the counter.

The knives are sharp, not intended for klutzes like me. Nice looking set! And the seller sent a replacement set for the missing knife.

Beautiful knife set
We have had these knives for a few months now and love the way they look and feel in the hand. All of the knives in the upper portion of the block cut beautifully and we love using them. They have a nice “heft” in the hand because of the filled handles and would gladly buy more of these type knives from Cuisinart.Now for the knives in the lower section – the steak knives. We do not like them at all. They might be ok for steaks, but nothing else. It’s a struggle to hold down what is being cut as the knives have way too much “tug” when they cut. We don’t use them at all anymore because every single time we do use one of them, we wonder why we even tried again. I’m currently looking for knives to replace them in the block.The price is still worth getting for all the other knives. We previously had some individual knives that matched these – that were about $20 each – and that’s why we purchased the set. Absolutely LOVE all the other knives and would happily buy any / all of them again.

Great product, bought it because it matches my cutlery set, not many reviews but because it’s Cuisinart I expected a certain level of quality. Unfortunately this is one of the worst quality items I’ve received through online shopping of an item that is from a reputable brand. The product box and the packaging and leaflets inside the box were destroyed as if the item was a return. Then I noticed brittle pink glue at the base of the sharpening tool handle. The knives were in ripped baggies and some were just coming out almost completely. The wooden block has deep scratches and dents and splinters! The grooves contained stray material I needed to push out and the knives don’t fit perfectly into their slots, most kind of just sit there and might look a little uneven or crooked. In theory, great item. In reality, very poor execution. I don’t have the full range of options on next steps with the seller/Amazon yet because the courier did not mark it as delivered. Quality is not what it should be at this price.
