I’m extremely happy with this coffee pot
I’m thoroughly enjoying my Christmas gift from my son… a Cuisinart coffee pot with a built-in grinder. The freshly ground coffee makes a huge difference in flavor, resulting in a more vibrant and rich cup. It also keeps the coffee nice and hot until it shuts itself off in 2 hours. (a great safety feature)The machine’s sleek design adds a modern touch to my kitchen countertop.Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this coffee pot and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a high-quality coffee pot and great tasting coffee!

You canât beat it for the price.
Hey whatâs not to like. I can have fresh ground, regular coffee or k cups ( I think I can have the latter). Love to wake up to fresh brewed coffee. Itâs a slick machine and easy to clean up. I bought an Amazon renewed for about half price and then used some of my Amazon earned money to fund the rest. Being renewed it didnât set me back much. I love how I am saving money now not using k cups. Easy to use ! I just wished the water would shut off when making just a few cups if the reservoir was full. Thatâs my only complaint. The rest is great.

Great Coffee Maker
Overall great for regular household needs. The grinder included as part of the machine means one less thing on my countertop. There are a lot of options including programmable timer, brew 1-4 cups, and using the grinder or not. The machine produces good tasting coffee. The grinder is pretty loud. If you have a small home, it will definitely wake you up when it starts. It also doesnât hold enough beans to brew a full pot. We usually brew 8 cups of very average strength coffee for our householdâs morning and the grinder is maxed out. If I am brewing a full pot, I fill the grinder and also add ground coffee to the filter area as you normally would. Thereâs plenty of space in the grinder area, so I feel like it could probably be larger but maybe thatâs all the motor can handle. One other con is taking apart the machine for daily cleaning. Of course you clear out any coffee maker each day, but there are a lot of parts here so it takes a few minutes. If thatâs not your thing, I would recommend buying a separate grinder and a different coffee maker but itâs not a deal breaker for me.

Great coffee maker
I owned the older model of this coffee maker: DCC-1200P1 and had it for at least 15 years. It was awesome and was in love with it. I purchased this new model since it has a grinder in it and it’s a great brand. I like it and it’s very functional. Overall, I’m happy. 1. I wish the grinder allowed for different ground sizes. It’s just one setting, one size but it’s not a big deal as it makes great coffee. 2. I would move the 1-4 Cups button above the Program button. People use the 1-4 cups button more than the Program button so I wish it was on top so you would hit all 3 top buttons to get the coffee maker started. Right now, you have to hit 2 buttons on top and 1 down. Again, not a big deal but just a design improvement IMHO. Maybe I’m being OCDish. Lastly, once coffee is made, I noticed the coffee maker shuts off after 1 hour. I think the previous model used to remain on for 2/3 hours, if I recall correctly. Anyway, not a big deal at all on these. This is a very safe choice and a great coffee maker to go with across the board and I recommend it.

Let Down
We were replacing a nearly 15 year old coffee maker by Cuisinart. This newer model has all the features and benefits we’d enjoyed with the older model plus some newer bells and whistles. After the set-up the instruction for grinding and brewing hadn’t changed if at all. Set the filter, water and selected a good dark roast bean to grind and pressed the Brew button…lots of spinning sounds but absolutely not a single bean was grounded. I checked and rechecked the carriage that held the beans and reinstalled several times. same result – I removed all the beans and tried again – this time the blade spun. So I lessen the number of beans to barley a hand full for a test and again the no grinding.I’ve shelved this product until an exchange or refund is provided.Luckily we still have the original and it’s still grinding like a champ.

COFFEE … Need I say more ð
Some call me a coffee snob…. I beg to differ, i’m simply someone who truly enjoys that one cup of coffee that I drink daily. I’m not a coffee drinker to the point that I drink coffee all day long, simply cannot do that. I have one cup in the morning while I’m getting ready for work.. that’s it! I guess the snobbery comes in because I will only drink one particular brand of coffee, and while I have tried others, I have found that this one satisfies my one cup a day coffee needs ð What does this have to do with this coffee maker, you ask? Sit back and relax….About five years ago I was visiting my niece in florida and she had a Kuerig of course, who didn’t have one at that time or even now right? Anyway, That was all she had. So I purchased pods from my favorite coffee company Caribou (mahogany), and it actually tasted pretty darn good so we decided we were going to break all the coffee snobbery rules and get a keurig coffee maker…. 4 Years later and five keurig’s, we decided we were done and it was time to go back to brewing our own coffee. That being said, I wanted one that gave us the option of grinding whole beans and brewing pre ground coffee…enter the Cuisinart dual brew machine…….Now who doesn’t love a good French press, and while this is not a French press, it offer similarities in that it grinds the beans fresh in the morning before it brews the coffee! Amazing right? The other great thing about this coffee maker, is that it also brews pre-ground coffee. It has a timer to set it to go off at anytime of the day or night, and the heating pad is programmable to stay on for more than two hours! So far we are quite happy with this coffee maker

Itâs a well made coffee brew/grinder combination. However, like many of the glass pot coffee makers on the market, the hot plate isnât adjustable.

We have had a few Cuisinartâs for many ,many years and we love that coffeemaker! The company stands behind its product always! Never had a problem with a return when the need did arise & therefore why would we change for something different! We love the grind and brew, excellent coffee ,easy to use, easy to clean & frankly we are used to the sound of the grind! It is loud ,no doubt about it, but we love this coffeemaker & not changing because itâs a bit loud!!!
