Cute British phone booth CD cabinet but has flaws
Very cute item and it arrived quickly. I had to deduct a star because the top right corner had a few ugly scuffs that I had to touch up with red paint and there was no knob or pull to open the unit. I drilled a hole and inserted a door knob. Problem solvedâ¦however for the price I paid for it, I am a bit disappointed that I had to make such modifications.

beware the specs?
this is a really nice piece – – for storing CD’s or DVD’s – – but not books!it claims to be a two-shelf bookcase, but what was delivered was a THREE-shelf case with very little depth and “no”, those shelve are not removable/moveable. so you’ll be hard pressed to store any/many books in this case.but, if you’re looking to store CD’s/DVD’s???….

CD cabinet, not really book shelf
I took my daughter on an extended UK trip and she was enamored with the phone booths, since they’re so quintessentially British. I thought something like this would be great for her apartment but wasn’t prepared to spring for a full sized booth, even though a much taller bookshelf of the same design would have been better. I found this one, and it indeed looked pretty genuine compared to the other small bookshelves of similar design.I did find a red metal cabinet pull that screwed into the wood from the front. I installed that with both 3M double sided mounting tape AND the screws to secure it. I then painted the screws red with acrylic paint. I recommend getting a handle, since it’s very difficult to open without a pull on it, and it’s likely that eventually the paint will be damaged if you’re constantly opening it without a pull.She really loves it. She’s not a collector of any type of knick knacks, so she’s using this for a few books (laying flat), and some loose items she didn’t really have a place for.One thing to note: this is clearly a DVD cabinet, which I didn’t realize, but I’m not sure it would have deterred my purchase had i realized. It would fit DVDs in their cases perfectly; they don’t really fit most books unless they’re laying flat or on their side, in which case you couldn’t really fit many of them.But it’s very nice and it’s proportioned well. It really does very closely resemble the real thing.I ordered mine open box for over 20% off the listed price, and it was in perfect shape with the very smallest of scratches on the very bottom front. When I installed the handle and painted the screws, I touched that tiny scratch up and the whole thing looked fantastic.

Innit cute
Absolutely adorable. Using it for a holder for my creams and makeup. Only issue I have is trying to open the door, it is hard to open sometimes. Everything looks good except there was a scrape on top with a little missing paint and then the phone sign is a bit wonky

Such a Cool British Looking Telephone Booth CD Cabinet
This cute cabinet is a very well built, furniture grade cabinet. The fit of the door and the finish is spot on. One thing to note is it is strictly for CD’s. DVD’s will not fit because the shelf’s are not adjustable. A small knob on the front door to ease opening the door would have been nice but that is a very minor issue.
