This bed frame is one heck of a build. If you are confident in following instructions and putting it together, I would say go for it because once it is built, it is great and everything you hoped for. It arrived in two separate boxes on two different days. You can totally make love and go hard with out hearing any squeaking or noise at all. Lifting up the mattress to access the storage underneath is easy. During the build, It seemed like the hydraulic units were not going to work and we were upset, but we just kept putting it together and once the mattress was on, the hydraulic units kicked in. Two things I dislike are that the charging port is only on one side, so you still have to find a plug for your partner on the other side to plug in their phone, and the drawers just come right out, they have nothing that stops them from falling out if you pull them all the way. The lights turn on when you open them and turn off when you close them. That confused us at first cause we were pushing the button and wondering why the light wasn’t turning off but realized you have to close the light for it to stay off. I still give the bed five stars because we absolutely love it. It’s beautiful, extremely comfortable and how quiet it is is the main thing we were looking for.
