$69.99
Product Overview
The DELARLO Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Sou Pot 12QT is a heavy-duty, fully clad stock pot engineered to deliver professional-grade performance in both home and commercial kitchens. Featuring a robust three-layer construction—18/10 stainless steel interior, an aluminum core, and 18/0 stainless steel exterior—this pot ensures fast, even heat distribution from base to rim. Its substantial 2.3mm thickness not only enhances durability but also allows the pot body to withstand high temperatures up to 600°F (lid up to 300°F), making it ideal for boiling, simmering, and preparing large batches of soups, stews, pasta, and sauces for family gatherings or catering events. The non-reactive 18/10 stainless steel cooking surface preserves the natural flavor and temperature of your ingredients, while the magnetic exterior guarantees seamless compatibility across all stovetop types.
Key Features
- Tri-Ply Construction: A precisely engineered three-layer design featuring a food-safe 18/10 stainless steel interior, a thermally conductive aluminum core, and a durable 18/0 stainless steel magnetic exterior that supports long-term use and universal stovetop compatibility.
- Even Heat Distribution: The aluminum core rapidly and uniformly transfers heat across the entire cooking surface—including the sides—eliminating hot spots and ensuring consistent results when cooking large volumes over extended periods.
- High-Temperature Resistance: Built to handle intense heat up to 600°F on the pot body and 300°F on the lid, enabling efficient boiling, searing, and braising without warping, discoloration, or loss of structural integrity.
- Non-Reactive Cooking Surface: The premium 18/10 stainless steel interior prevents any chemical interaction with acidic or alkaline foods, safeguarding the authentic taste, color, and nutritional quality of soups, sauces, and marinades.
- Universal Stovetop Compatibility: Thanks to its magnetic stainless steel exterior, this pot works flawlessly on induction, electric, gas, halogen, glass-top, and even open campfire cooktops—perfect for any kitchen setup.
- Durable & Spill-Resistant Design: The high walls and reinforced round rim are specifically shaped to minimize splashing during vigorous boiling, while the thick 2.3mm material provides exceptional stability and resistance to dents or deformation.
- Ergonomic, Riveted Handles: Two wide, deep handles made of stainless steel are securely attached with rivets for a firm, comfortable grip—even when wearing oven mitts—and remain cool enough to touch during typical cooking times.
- Tempered Glass Lid with Steam Vent: A clear, shatter-resistant glass lid offers full visibility of contents while maintaining heat and moisture. Rimmed in stainless steel and fitted with a built-in steam vent for safe pressure release during boiling.

Benefits & Use Cases
This 12-quart stock pot is purpose-built for cooks who demand reliability and efficiency when preparing generous portions. Whether you’re simmering a rich beef bourguignon for eight people, boiling pasta for a crowd, or creating large-batch soups and chilis for weekly meal prep, this pot maintains steady, consistent heat throughout the entire cooking process. The wide opening allows easy access for stirring and tossing, while the high sides contain splatters effectively. After cooking, the tight-sealing glass lid helps retain warmth and moisture, keeping meals hot and ready to serve. Designed to meet professional chef standards, this pot performs as well in a restaurant kitchen as it does in a home setting—making it a versatile tool for everyday cooking or special occasions alike.
Important Notes
The DELARLO 12QT Stock Pot excels in liquid-based cooking methods such as boiling, simmering, braising, steaming, and slow-cooking. It is not intended for dry-heat applications like grilling or broiling unless used indirectly on a burner. To preserve performance and longevity, avoid exceeding 600°F on the pot body for prolonged durations. Due to its substantial weight and thick build, always use oven mitts when moving the pot, especially after extended heating. Clean the glass lid by hand only—sudden temperature shifts can cause thermal shock and cracking. The package includes one fully assembled 12-quart stock pot and one matching tempered glass lid with steam vent.

VERY NICE STOCK POT
I am extremely please with this 6 quart stock pot and lid. I purchased this item to use on my single hob induction cooker. The item is very well made. It is also very attractive. Most importantly, it works well with my induction burner. I think that the price is very reasonable. I would recommend this item.

This is THE BEST pot I’ve ever had!
This is a beautiful pot that I have fallen in love with. It has become now my go-to pot for just about anything when size, from 3 to 5 qts. capacity is required! If used properly, it won’t stick at all. If used improperly (not letting it heat-up before adding to it) it may stick a bit, but not much. It is SUPER EASY to clean…it feels bottom heavy and assures me of its quality, yet all told, it’s kind of light to handle and doesn’t hurt my arthritic hands. I definitely love this pot and only wish the rest of my SS cookware was like it! Most definitely recommend.

Great Pans at a Great Price
I have purchased 8 different pots and pans from Delarlo now and I’m very pleased with how durable and heavy they are, and the ones with the non stick coating are truly non stick. I’ve not had trouble with any of my pans. I love that I can put them in the oven too so I can sear a steak or chicken breast and oven finish it. I plan to keep buying this brand until I replace all of my old teflon peeling cookware. Great product!

Very happy!
We have used several times now. It cleans up well, still looks brand new. Lid is a good solid fit. Time will tell how long the awesome non-stick holds up, but recommend for anyone reading this!

Looks gorgeous and seems well made
I needed to buy a new stock pot for use on my new induction stove. Most of the cookware that is listed as induction ready is extremely expensive so when I saw this I decided it was worth taking a chance. It appears to be solidly made and worked quite well for the first batch of soup–heated quickly and evenly, adjusted quickly when I went from boil to simmer and was easy to clean. I have only used it once but am quite pleased.

Solid contender for best in class.
I was in the market for a new 5qt stock pot to replace an old stainless plastic handled pot I have owned for years. I upsized to a 6qt in the Delarlo as I was worried about the 5qt being deep enough. This model has a glass lid with steam hole. No spiting or leaking liquid when put in use and easy to clean after use. The pot itself has a nice weight and feel to it. It browns nicely with minimal sticking to the bottom. I did follow the manufacturer’s instructions to pre-season the pan and it performs perfectly. I own other stainless cookware made by Cuisine Art, Calphalon, and All Clad and this pot is their equal at much lower pricing. I highly recommend.

Good imitation
So this pot is clearly an imitation of the Hexclad cookware. Iâve been using Hexclad pans for years now and I absolutely love them, but I wasnât sure if I wanted to spend that much money on pots because you donât really use pots the same way as you do frying pans so thereâs not much need for the super duper was of Hexclad technology. My thoughts on this were absolutely right! While you can definitely tell that this is an imitation of the expensive stuff, it actually works wonderfully and at a fraction of the cost! This pan does a fantastic job and the coating acts pretty much as Hexclad does. The pan cleans up just as easy and doesnât seem to scratch when you scrape it with metal utensils. Honestly, the only difference so far is that the lid and the hands are not as eloquent as the Hexclad ones. Other than that, I think this is a fantastic pot and it very well priced for the quality youâre getting. I got this one and the smaller one and I wish they had a bigger size cause I would buy that too!
