Good Product
First used this past weekend. Product is sturdy and the finish is good. 10 step assembly instructions works out to about 50 but the illustrations are good and the fit was excellent. Very happy with the purchase, packaging and delivery.I would suggest that they advise using stick on grips for the steps if the children using it are very young. Also a good idea would be recommending pipe insulation on the wood supports for the upper bunk.

Happy kid!
This definitely was a project to put together, it took my husband and I a couple of hours, and if you donât have a drill with a hex attachment, buy one. Very satisfied with the turnout, it sits high off the ground compared to other cheap beds Iâve ordered off of here, the construction seems very solid. We decided not to use the ladder because heâs big enough to get up without it. We bought a 5 inch mattress off of here for $70ish for the top bunk and it was a perfect fit. These will be simple to separate when he outgrows the bunk bed, and it gives us two perfectly good beds. This is the only way to buy a bunk bed because it separates easily, itâs solid and there was no missing pieces or hardware. Color matched perfectly to existing furniture in his room.

Great but assembly is a LOT!!!!
Great quality especially for the price point.Definitely pay to deliver to the room of choice. Entire thing comes in one narrow long HEAVY box and was challenging even for the muscular delivery man.ASSEMBLY is a BEAST x 10. Parts, parts and more parts. You need lots of room to lay it all out and assemble. Power tools a must. I donât see how one person could do it alone. Everything was labeled, but no spares so keep up with it all. Instructions are complicated but not impossible.Would I buy again? Probably not. Too much trouble, but if you are very handy, strong and patient these look great and seem extremely sturdy and safe which was a concern of mine. I would rather have bought local, paid more and had them put together. If you donât mind all the assembly hassle, buy them. Otherwise, these look and feel very nice.Longevity is TBD. We just spent the first night with the kids in these beds.

husband took 6 hours to assemble
this is fantastic bed. my husband took 6 hrs to assemble with no help, he only asked me for help once, just to hold something for a few minutes (assembling the frame). All parts came in impeccable condition, no scratches or any imperfections on the wood or the hardware. Speaking of hardware, screws are large and thick hold the bed together very well. no wobble whatsoever! I would buy again and again. espresso brown is beautiful color, very rich.

Highly Recommend this Product!!
Snagged 2 sets of these bunk beds and couldnât be more pleased. Took us right at 2 hrs (1 hr each) to put these together. Very sturdy compared to the standard metal ones. Instructions were pretty easy to follow. We staggered our ladders to keep walking space clear. The fit was snug. I few of the screw holes needed some love from the 1/2 inch spade bit to better align the holes. They were aligned correctly, but they just didnât allow the bolt/nut to go into the right depth. It was a 10 second fix. I sped up our time by using a cordless drill, Phillips screw driver, and a hex bit that much the allen wrench size. I had all the correct # of screws, dowels, and bolts provided in the packaging. No shaking when you grab onto the bed so I feel great about the safety piece. The comfort will be determined by the mattress on it but I am confident that it will be great for family visits.

Poor materials and unclear instructions
Amazon endorses this product, but not sure why.I have assembled many pieces of furniture but this was the most difficult to build because of missing parts and unclear assembly instructions. People who are not very handy with building, will regret this purchase. Also there were missing screws and small parts that required me to visit the local hardware store, which is easier then calling customer service. I will get the bed inspected to insure sturdiness, due to all the problems with assembly.

Awesome for the price!
We are really impressed with the quality of this bunk bed for the price! Took 2 people about 2 1/2 hours to assemble, and directions were clear and concise. We found it easiest to organize all the parts in a room across the hall from the bedroom, and grab parts as needed. We bought a 7 inch twin mattress for the top bunk and the guardrails are still a more than sufficient height. The top mattress we bought is specifically marketed for bunk beds and trundles, so it has a harder bottom. We feel with that feature there are no issues with stability, but if you use a normal mattress we would recommend a piece of plywood or bunkie board for additional support. Overall we are very happy with the bed and think it will hold up for years!

Issues
So this bunkbed is super cute and a great price. There are a couple of disappointments:First, the instructions are terrible. We got half way through and realized that we were using pieces that went to the full bed. This is an easy mistake because the heading says – Full/Twin bed on every page.Second, the support system is not very good. The boards are very narrow and does not provide much support. Also when making the beds your sheets hang down and are visible because there is nothing to tuck into. This looks so tacky. We ended up buying some plywood to lay on top of the slats for these reason. Also – the company put a huge sticker on the end of the footboard with warnings in 4 languages. It looked pretty bad cosmetically, such an eyesore. It took me over an hour removing it.

Well made. Well packed as there was no major issues. Just be warned that it takes minimum of two people to assembly and two people who can lift heavy items to put the single bed on top of double bed.
