Updated review after almost two years:
I read many reviews before buying this bed. Some were glowing, gushing testaments to the magnificence of it, and others were reports of the horrors. I think the truth is somewhere in between. Here are some things I remember that I’d like to clarify, for anyone who, like me, may be confused by the mixed bag of opinions. The welding isn’t expert/detracts from the quality: no, it’s supposed to look that way. This is a classic look. The “imperfections” are true to the style. It looks like an antique bed I had when I was young, and the welding spots make it look old, instead of new and cheap. It squeaks/bends/isn’t sturdy: it is very sturdy, and it doesn’t squeak if you tighten the bolts completely. If you don’t do that, this bed will fall apart, after driving you crazy listening to its noise. You can tell that by the way it’s assembled. The silver bolts are hideous: yes, they are, but this can be cured quite easily with a $5 metal paint pen, and for the price of this bed, it’s still a bargain. The holes don’t line up perfectly/you have to force pieces together: that’s true, to some extent; you do have you force some of the pieces together. Trust me, though, you don’t want to sleep in a bed with extra large holes where everything fits together. It would squeak and lack stability. It’s a good thing that it fits snugly. It does fit. There are missing pieces/boxes open/damaged pieces: I’m sure these were valid complaints when posted, but apparently this company got tired of complaints. When I got mine, every single piece was boxed separately and taped securely. I think they got paranoid about missing pieces, because it took me longer to get the tape off than it did to assemble the headboard and footboard.I have slept on it one night, so I can’t speak to durability, but it seems solid and it is very comfortable with a good mattress. For $111, I’m happy right now. If that changes, I’ll update the review. My only real problem with assembly it’s that there are no text directions. The instructions are just pictures, and I find that difficult to decipher; however, that’s a personal issue that probably won’t affect anyone else.Update: This bed is rated for 160 pounds, so I’m not changing my rating, but keep in mind that kids grow and weights change. Once you break that 160 lb. weight limit, it’s only a matter of time before the bed frame buckles and breaks apart. (Keep in mind 160 includes the mattress. I did not, so I was ANGRY, at first. A heavy mattress reduces the size of the person who can use the bed.) If you’re shopping for a small child, it’s a great value. If you’re shopping for a teenager, don’t buy this bed. It will not last. I bought it in September 2015, and I put it on the trash pile in January 2018.

Price matches quality
I’m glad I bought the bed….. POSITIVES:nice color, sturdiness of individual parts, fairly easy to assemble………. NEGATIVES:The middle 3 legs are about 2-3 inches too short! They don’t touch the floor!! So basically it will force the bed to bow in ge middle, when laying on bed they touch. Noises when moving around on bed.Long and short, Its a good bed….get what you pay for.

White metal bed
My daughter loved this bed. Itâs very pretty and secure. The only problem I had was, the bolts didnât always line up and being a woman i couldnât adjust it on my own, I had to pay my handyman. It was worth it when I seen how happy my daughter was. I loved that they had a whole section of extra parts, and that there is plenty of room to put things in boxes under the bed.

Good buy!
Very cute, a little low to the ground. Really easy to put together. Just as expected. This bed is definitely made for a toddler, not a grown person even if they are small. If you haven’t put DHP furniture together before a tip to avoid holes mismatching is, keep the screws very lose so they slide or wiggle. Finish putting the bed together, then go back and tighten them. Or you might have the ends of the bed swapped if the holes still don’t match. It does matter. It’s a really cute bed for the price but the other reviews are correct that the support bar could not support jumping or an adult. I do lay on it with my daughter to read her bedtime stories and it hasn’t bent, but we are not rough on the bed in any way like jumping or bouncing. I have had this bed for about a month and I’m still happy with the purchase. My only complaint is that the metal designs on the bed are not smooth and you can see it is just metal folded over metal. I thought that part of fabrication could have been better.

It doesn’t squeak, my husband put it together and he says it was easy peasy. It’s exactly what I was looking for to complete my 3 year old daughter’s room.

La cama es muy bonita pero no llegó. El vendedor se contactó conmigo para avisar que el producto venia defectuso y preferīa no mandarlo lo cual te da confianza y te dice que el servicio al cliente es muy bueno. Realizo la devolución del pago en una semana.
