I will buy a few more! Very impressed with the quality for the price! The base is VERY heavy and substantial! Not going to tip easily. The lamp shade was fun to put together, very easy and nice looking. I really LOVE that the floor controller has a dimmer and gets really bright or very subtle. Easy to assemble. Tall. Light is bright enough. It doesn’t look too bad, definitely sort of “cozy.”However, the dimming switch is on the floor cord, which makes it quite hard to reach. This lives behind my couch, which means I could never reach that switch, even if I learned to operate it like a pedal. I duct taped it to the stem as high up as I could get it to it, if I twist the right way.

This lamp is excellent quality with dimmable feature on a foot pedal. Lamp shade, even though you put it together, ends up looking very nice. After shopping in stores for a floor lamp, I found this was not only my best value but nicest product.
