Great bedroom lamp
This is just a first impressions review. I will edit my review if anything starts giving me problems.The lamp arrived on time and was very nicely boxed. There was none of that high frustration packaging. There was now visible sign of delivery abuse, USPS, and it was just a matter of cutting the tape to open the box. The lamp itself is great looking and appears to be solidly constructed. The base is heavy and the pole pieces are solid and connect together to form a solid pole.Assembly was pretty straightforward and just takes a fer minutes to finish. The remote magnetically attaches to the pole which is a nice touch. It consists of two columns of buttons for separate control of each lamp. It works well and allows for dimming and brightening as well as changing the temperature of each light. Just make sure and remove the almost invisible plastic covering on the battery though.It’s now set up and working. I’ll report back if I encounter any problems.

We love it so much we’ve purchased 5 over the last three years!
These are great lamps! I started with one in my office so I could adjust light to optimize being on screen for meetings. The indirect light eliminates glare off of my glasses. Between glare on my glasses and an astigmatism, I’ll never use a ring style light.Both adjustments for tone and brightness of both light sources either on the lamp or with the remote are simple. It’s easy to put together. The original one is still like brand new. We have one for my daughters room, the living room, my husbands office, and just purchased another for the basement. It’s incredible how much the light off the ceiling illuminates dark spaces without being offensive with an exposed bulb.The only thing I wish were better is that it will automatically turn on when plugged in. So when the power goes out and comes back on or if there’s a power flicker, our house is immediately bathed in light. No so cool at 3am. Despite that, clearly we continue to purchase these versatile lamps and highly recommend them to our friends and colleagues.

Great lighting, easy to put together
I have been looking for good lighting for my front living room, that has no ceiling/wall lights. I have tried a couple of other options and discovered this floor lamp.I purchased two – shipped in a timely manner, no damage to box or product.I am fairly versed in putting together products and this product was easy to put together – approximately. 5 minutes each lamp.The center stand is sturdy and I really like the ability to change the type of lighting from day light to soft light – there are 4 different settings. The two levels of lighting are functional – with the top light for the whole room and the mid-lamp for person reading.There is a touch on/off button on stem of lamp as well as a remote. The remote has two settings – one for each light/lamp (top, middle).

Practical for small rooms
Iâm a fan of torchere floor lamps, and I liked this design. Pros: slim body, solid (not a ring) âreading lightâ, GREAT remote. Not only are there 4 general light settings, but you can personally dim/raise each one. Very easy to put together. Cons: does not âthrowâ a lot of light. Wonât light up the whole room like the old (and overly-hot/dangerous) halogen torcheres we all had in our first Gen X apartments. Iâm not sure that -any- of these lamps do. The reading lamp could be more flexible and the white plastic covering isnât fixed. Overall: the quality is good, the remote is great (as others have written, the battery has a micro-thin plastic wrapper as of the date of this review), the price is great for what you get, and shipping was super fast. Perfect as a corner lamp by an easy chair or a sofa, especially for seniors. Good as a lamp for a small desk.

Great Light
Great light well work the price. Quality made and can put out a great deal of light or you can tone it down for softer light. The remote comes in handy I could put the lamp in a rather awkward place to turn on and off. The remote is great.

Bright light, exactly what I was looking for and re-pairing the remote is easy
Initial setup was easy, the lamp is bright and works nice, I like that it has different color temperature settings and brightness. Pairing the remote was easy, but someone unplugged the lamp and the remote no longer worked. I found you can re-pair the remote by unplugging the lamp. Hold down the power button on the remote, while holding down the power button on the remote, plug the lamp back into the outlet, wait a second or so and the lamp flashes indicating successful pairing. I was so happy to have the remote working again! Great lamp, the remote makes it much better as you don’t have to cycle through all the color temperatures if you like one in particular.

Great Lightâ¦ A Couple of Issues
I actually liked the first light so much, I bought a second. I loved the brightness and color options. The remote is easy enough for my 3 and 4 year old to work. If they woke up before us they would turn the light on so they could color at the table. We love the dimming feature in the evening as we get ready for bed.We had a new baby and I needed a dimmable light for the nursery. So we purchased a second which we also loved. But here is where we started having issues.Our second lamp randomly dims and brightens. Itâs not a huge deal since we turn it off when we put our baby to bed at night, but it would wake him up sometimes while we rocked him or nursed him to sleep.The second issue is with the original lamp. It stopped taking to the remote. My husband found some tips to re-sync the remote involving killing the power five times (At the small connection on the cord. We tried to unplug and replug the wall plug and it did not work. We had to do this at the smaller connection on the cord.)So our second issue is resolved. Overall weâre happy with our purchases. They work well for our family.I will say they are not the sturdiest lamps. Ours are blocked off from the little ones, but if you have a crawler or toddler, youâll definitely want to take precautions so they donât pull this down on themselves.

The lamp was delivered yesterday afternoon (Friday Jan 22, 2021 – ordered Dec 4, 2020). I assembled it but had to wait until evening to try it out. I like the numerous settings and main indirect light on top. The remote helps as I can adjust light across the room. The three settings for light from cool to warm is a nice feature. The reading lamp works the same. And I like that the lamp remembers what your last setting was when you turn it back on.The lamp is thin and modern and is not intrusive in the living room. The remote has a magnet so can stick to the metal frame out of the way (less chance to misplace).It was worth the wait when it finally arrived (delayed over the Christmas season due to high volume of packages). I have been slowly replacing all of the lights in my house with LED lights, so this is a welcome addition.
