Great modern upgrade to old pocket door!
This pocket door track kit has worked out great and is a much needed update to an old builders grade pocket door I had in my house. The finish is holding up great for black hardware & the rolling mechanisms/track are sturdy & smooth. The black finish looks very cool in the recessed track area too! I would just say to really read all of the directions before installing & measure everything before you buy to make sure it fits your space. The little bumpers included are awesome too for not slamming the door, they can go on the track before or after you install it to the ceiling which is a great option. I like how the back 3 holes are slotted for easy removal if ever needed in the future! This can save you from having to cut into drywall to get to the hardware.

Smooth, quiet and good quality hardware.
I bought a 30-inch-opening (60″ track) pre-packaged pocket-door kit from a big-box store, and their original hardware was weak and noisy (steel track and no ball-bearings).THIS kit is a nice and easy upgrade. It took me 10 minutes to remove the previous steel track and install this aluminum one. Track was already the right length (60″ total), so no cutting needed. Ball bearing rolers and aluminum track are much quieter and smoother. The included screws and parts were nicely packaged. All-black paint was nice and consistent. The door guides (for the bottom edge) are a nice bonus.My only “con” is that these door hangars are an “L” bracket, and they hang over the side of the door (at top). That is nice for extra screws if the door is very heavy, but not needed in my case, and the brackets are sort-of visible. But I can ignore that, or maybe I’ll cut off that part later.

Worked perfect for a surface mount pocket door
This kit worked out perfectly for me! I used this to create a kind of faux pocket door at my son’s house, he wanted a pocket door for a jack n jill bath and not a “barn door” style door. We installed the door hardware and door then framed up a dummy wall over it and finished like the rest of the room.The hardware operates smoothly and the finish is good quality.

Great replacement for sliding closer door
I picked this up to replace a very old and outdated sliding track door.The difference is night and day. Now the sliding door operates smoothly with just a finger. Before I was essentially dragging it along the track.Easy to put up and you can trim it to length if its not the exact size you needed.

This is quality.
I can’t profess to be all that knowledgeable about these but I can tell you that this is miles better than what was on my pocket door. So smooth with no wobble and it looks like from the quality it should last darn near forever.
