Seals up gap around doors
This was perfect to place around our new exterior french doors. Very easy to install by pushing around the trim. One roll fit perfectly around my 72 inch x 80 inch french doors. They seal the gap around the doors so no more winter draft. The soft foam doesn’t mar up the doors either, easy to wipe clean.

This stuff did the trick. A bit harder to install than I expected, but still pretty easy. I have NO EXPERIENCE in handy work like this.(The only thing I knew about the installation was from the stuff I pulled outâ¦and youtube). Don’t push in with the blade end of a putty knifeâ¦it will damage it. But the blunt handle of the putty knife was perfect to push it in. If you are in OK health (I’m notâ¦takes effort for me to go up and down a step stool, and and get up and down off the floor), it will probably take you 15 min to seal a door. Resealing will take longer, since you need to take out the old stuff and may need to remove adhesive.A friend recommended this type of product. I found on line, ordered it, and it arrived exactly 6 days later. No installation instructions, but they probably figure anyone ordering this knows what they are doing.No adhesive, so I didn’t rate that category.If I was in better health, I would have given 5 stars for ease of instruction.Looking forward to replacing the seal on two more doors. I can do this! Thank you!

This product worked out really well. There was more than enough material for my oversized, 8ft door, and this design works really well for sealing tight to the door when shut. I didn’t realize how bad the draft from the door was until it went away ( thanks to this door seal ). Installation was quick and painless and the price was very reasonable.

Pulled out the existing seals from the door frame, then using the old seals, one by one used them as the template to cut the new ones with just a simple pair of scissors. Total install time was less than 10 minutes.Fixed my leaking aged door seals (could see daylight through the door, not a good thing especially in Saskatchewan winters!).
