Unique and Easy
Truthfully, I wasnât quite sure what to expect. I figured I could always aim right where Iâm trying to drill without a guide. But once I got it, I discovered it allowed me to drill in places that would be very difficult like corners or round objects. It is very solid and I think it will last a long time. I got thinking about all those times in the past that Iâve had trouble getting a nail or screw right where I wanted it because of an edge or corner. I anticipate that will be much easier now. It also has guide marks on the side so you can be sure of exactly where youâre drilling. So if you draw a line, you can lay it right on that line. I think it will come in handy in the future.

It works
The drill guide seams to be very durable. The only issue i had was that several of the holes had rough edges and I had to run that size drill bit through to drill out the holes.

Needs a better design
I do not have the equipment necessary to check the accuracy of the holes in this tool, so I’m reviewing based on other characteristics. The casting quality is mediocre. Its largely solid, but the surface has texture from the cast. The piece itself is very small…too small IMO for its intended function. You need to be able to hold this flat and plumb, so a wider base would be much better. The holes are cut nearly overlapping each other. I wonder if over time and use the wear will break through to the adjacent hole. Overall it just doesn’t seem well thought out, and I would reach for my milescraft jig first before this one (and I really don’t even like the MIlescraft one).

Great little drill guide
This guide is a hefty little dude. I would be worried about the thin walls between holes, if it was made of aluminum or lighter material, but seems to be steel or ironâvery hefty, in a good way. Tolerances are also pretty spot-on…no excess bit wobble, but doesn’t hug bits too tightly. Very happy with it so far!

Very accurate
If you don’t have a drill press or you can’t get the material to the drill press because of size, this is the best way to get a perfectly perpendicular hole!

Very poor quality
Finish on the drill guide is not even close to what is shown in the picture. Very deceptive! Of all the many products Iâve purchased on Amazon, Iâve never written a review until now. This drill guide is garbage. Donât buy.
