Satisfactory LED Strip
I’ve been looking for something like this for a while, so I was excited to get this installed and working. It is ok, bit really didn’t live up to my expectations. First and biggest issue for me is the awkward control switch. The buttons and related functions are not intuitive. The manual that comes with it is very detailed, someone obviously spent a great deal of effort trying to explain how the buttons work, with pictures and flow charts, etc, but it’s still hard to follow. Honestly, it shouldn’t be that hard to turn on a motion sensor light, so there is a major engineering gap here.Once installed the lights work fine, and they come with an adhesive backing to affix them to any surface. The 3k temperature is great as well, giving off a soft glow, but this seems to be the ONLY temperature. The motion sensors are extremely responsive as well, so no issues there. Overall, these are ok if you are ok with one color temp, but they lack user friendly controls.

Excellent strip light, with 2 sensors
Great for my stairs. Easy install. I installed it into led strip casing. Looks nicer. Works well. Great, no need for batteries now.

Need one in every closet, in every cabinet, and under every bed!
I recently received this “Dual Motion Sensor Light Indoor – Plug-in Motion Activated LED Stair Light Strip Step Light with Double Sensors, Dimmer and Timer for Stairway, Bedroom, Corridor (Cold White 6000K 16.4FT Light Strip)” after trying a comparable product from a different vendor. The first worked out so well that I really wanted to try setting up something similar in different location.The first dual-motion sensor strip light I set up is currently serving as ambient lighting from beneath the bed in the guest bedroom. I wanted guests to have the ability to get up from bed and find their way to the door without fumbling around looking for switches. You know how it is when you’re the guest in someone else’s home and don’t have light switch locations committed to muscle memory, right? I wanted to take that problem away completely, and under-the-bed motion-triggered lighting worked perfectly for that. I considered doing the same thing in my own bedroom, but ultimately decided where I’d really like to have a second dual strip is in the kitchen so I can avoid turning on the glaring fluorescent overhead light. I’ve had individual motion-sensor lights in the kitchen since moving in, but I find that I’m nearly always recharging at least one of the lights and wanted something more permanent. This set of strip lights isn’t exactly permanent, but it’s definitely a step up over individually rechargeable lights as far as I’m concerned. Yes, this strip occupies an AC outlet which can be inconvenient, sure, but it’s nice to know that the LIGHT is available at any time (as long as there’s power).Setup on these is very simple. The hardest part for me in setting this up in the kitchen was the rearrangement of all the odds and ends that are stored on the countertop that had to be moved to put these up, but meh, it took very little time and was really easy. The strips are adhesive, so you just want to make sure you have a good clean surface before peeling off the sticker protector and applying them to the wall/cabinet. The strips weigh next to nothing though, so as long as the surface is prepped (cleaned) and is reasonably smooth, they should stick and hold without much issue. One of the perks to adhesive strip lights is that even if the adhesive does fail somehow, you can always remedy it with your own adhesive. That being said, I wouldn’t recommend using anything to pierce the strips. (Side note: When I installed the other set under the bed I used upholstery pins to secure them to the underside of the mattress, but made sure none of the pins pierced the strip.)If you set these up so you can see the menu designations on the controller end, use is pretty straightforward and easy. If, on the other hand, you mount this in a position where you have to “feel” your way through the menu on the controller end, getting the settings where you want them can be a bit harder. I mention this because of the under-the-bed mount. Once I had it neatly secured and everything was in place, I found out how difficult the strip can be to operate without being able to see the menu! XDThe number of places a strip like this could be useful is nearly limitless. This strip would be great inside lower cabinets for those long sections that can be accessed from either end. They’d also be great in a hallway or (obviously) on a staircase, but why stop there?! These would be a wonderful addition to any pantry, closet, or laundry room. Really, the list goes on. And on. And on. Forever. No, really. The list does not end!I love these lights and really can’t recommend them highly enough. They’re innovative and easy to use. They add a lot both in convenience and “modernization” and I feel like they should be standard equipment in any home! Happy to recommend!

No darker floor when you move out of bed at night
Thruely, this Montion senor LED strip light is just perfect for all senior citizens like us. It used to be a challenge in the middle of the night to fetch for light switch. Now, at your first movement, the light glows up and shows your path clearly. I fixed this strip (which is exactly covering three sides of our queen-size bed) below the bed’s iron platform. Set the system in “Night Mode”, means it will not work at daytime or bright-light condition, set it to motion-sending and its light “on” duration to 30 seconds. Also set the brightest light mode.As you can see that this system has all choices, like always ON, Motion sensing all day or only dusk-to-dawn or only when outside light is low; Then, dimmer-brightness settings; also setting for how long light should be “on” after no-motion. The designer of this system has thought of all the necessary options. They also provided an extra cable to extend the powerline, in case your power outlet is far away. It comes in a simple plastic bag thus reducing their extra cost and spending most on the real product.I am thrilled to have this stuff.
