Very sturdy and heavy duty
This is the same kind of mat we had when I was growing up. We had the same mat my entire childhood, it was even there when I brought my own kids to visit their grandparents. It is heavy so the wind wonât move it and shoveling snow around it wonât be difficult. One side has the softer texture that will help wipe dirt off of your shoes. After searching and searching and not finding one that would work for me. I was so excited when this one popped up. It a little more expensive then others but it should last for many years.

This is a 20-year door mat.
I think this mat may be indestructible by normal human activity. I can’t say what a grizzly bear might be able to do to it.I also think it will fit right in with your decor scheme, if your theme is Steam Punk.

Great mat !
Heavy weight mat works great. Dirt and small leaves fall through rather than into the house. Great for pets. Highly recommend.

FANTASTIC option for both durability, effective debris capture and long life… STRONGLY recommend!
PROS:+ Stays put – This is a heavy mat and stays where you put it in contrast to some other thinner recycled rubber/ tire mats I have owned. Others have slid around on the cement once moisture builds between the mat and the cement under it.+ Most effective door mat for capturing debris while being comfortable even without shoes! The fabric top is great for both.+ Easy maintenance and long life – hose off and good as new+ Cost effective – Replace and forget rather than repeatedly replace every year or two. Though they can be seemingly pricey, after looking at what it cost to replace decorative versions every 12-18 months, I was ahead of the game in cost the first year by simply not buying two cheaper less effective mats for the same spot and location I purchased this one.+ Discourages mold and mildew growth by having an airated design whereas other recycled rubber/tire mats have facilitated it in their designsCONS:* SUBJECTIVE – Perhaps less “decorative” than some other mats I have had but I think its function far outweighs any potential “industrial” leaning appearance on my patio. In fact, I would argue it blends in and lets the landscaping, fountains and planters be the focus :). It wasn’t my intension but it is the end result. I actually prefer it to the former decorative mats as a result.USAGES:* If you have kids, pets and or multiple people coming in and out of an entrance, this simulated-fabric covered recycled tire/rubber mat is your best friend to minimize dirt, debris and allergens from entering your home* Front door/ back door/ mudroom/ Garage entrance/ etc.* As a fatique mat for grills & planter stations – I use one in front of my Planter Station and another in front of my Grill for a comfortable standing/ fatique free mat.* If you are looking for cost effective and quality product to minimize debris – seems to be one time purchase so far! The two for this purpose don’t have the “Fabric” surface but if they made them large enough, I would have gotten them with the fabric top for these locations too!___________________________________________ NARRATIVE___________________________________________I strongly recommend this product. I owned 3 other Dura Rugs of different weave patterns without the Fabric Texture already when I found this option. My only regret is that they don’t make the fabric version in the larger size that I use in my garage in front of my work bench! I love what I have but I will tell you… it would be perfect to serve double duty there as it does on my back patio outside my slider! Double duty including both as a quality mat that traps and allows effective wiping of feet in/out of slider door as well as a durable comfort mat/ fatique reducing mat for which to stand (even bare foot) comfortably!My home has a larger one in front of my multi-burner grill on a cement patio which provides an anti-fatique mat that also is durable during the Florida sun and heat. I am done spending a fortune on new mats every year to year and a half. These not only hold up but work the best by far in my experience and have a quality appearance along with their effectiveness. Though not as “decorative” as some other mats, I will take the superior durability and effiectiveness over brief appearance anyday. Most decorative mats fade quickly and or begin to break down quickly. Even the recycled rubber decorative mats of other vendors do not hold up as well as these. The airated design allows for moistue to pass to the bottom during rain while allowing the mat to wipe & hold debris at the same time. Ultimately, the same feature allows evaporation which discourages the mold and mildue other mats seem to foster.Maintenance is simple hose off. It literally looks and functions good as new! I strongly recommend these mats for many places around your home where you would need a durable mat that captures and traps debris and or where you would need an anti-fatique mat with durability. Though I would not use the standard mat inside my home say in the kitchen, I would consider using this one with the fabric top as an anti-fatique option in front of my Kitchen sink. It has a less industrial appearance. Once my current mat wears out, this may be my next option.Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Floor protector
First it is neat looking. It does a nice job cleaning my shoes off before stepping into house. I also like it is made from recycled material and made in USA

Where have these door mats been?
I was so tired of all the cheap outdoor door mats that are being sold now. Not only did they start separating at the corners after not too long, causing a tripping hazard, but they also soaked up the rain and stayed wet long after the sidewalk and steps were dry. I looked at a number of sites for this tire-link type of door mat that I remember having years ago and I finally found one. It is heavy and heavy duty and will probably last as long as I do. And with the open weave design rain will drain through and reduce the amount of water brought into the house by wet shoes and paws. This is an awesome door mat!

Great quality. Tough as nails. Best door mat a person can buy. They last for decades. I love mine.
