Great product for a great price
I was very surprised about this table and chairs. They were so easy to put together and the quality is outstanding. The table and the chairs are made from heavy wood and so they are extremely sturdy. For the price I paid I didn’t expect something so beautiful. Everyone who sees the table says how nice it is and I love how it makes my dining room look so elegant. I highly recommend this product!

Superb Product – but only after it is assembled!
I really like this table: it is extremely handsome and the two leifs allow the table to hug the wall making it very compact and a perfect fit for my small kitchen. However, it was a nightmare [almost] to assemble. If I hadn’t had the daughter of a friend to put it together I probably would have returned it. It required a power screw driver, slim and nimble fingers to reach into the base to attach the legs and sliding under to tighten up screws. But, even if you have to pay someone [which I did] it is still worth buying this table. When I sit in my living room recliner, I look into the kitchen at the beautiful clean lines and rich mahogany appearance of this fine table and forget about the assembling.

Not bad for the money
Don’t expect Kittinger quality for Walmart money!This is an ok table. It’s top is wobbly. The chairs are pretty sturdyThe top is a soft wood, and so you would not be able to write on paper without a pad underneath and you must wipe it down with a soft clothIt looks ok and would be good in any home that has light use. Definitely not for an active family!

Excellent quality!
We bought this table set for our condo in Florida two weeks ago. We very pleased with the top quality wood and design. It was delivered in perfect condition – well packed. I am a 68 year old woman and putting the chairs and table together by myself was a “piece of cake” (I normally forge ahead rather than wait for help). The bolt holes were drilled with perfect alignment, and I could hand turn the bolts the majority of the way before needing the provided Allen-wrench. The directions are sparse but once I figured out that the medium length bolts are for the front chair legs and the longer ones are for the one piece chair back/legs it was a breeze. We love it and highly recommend East West Furniture!

item arrived damaged
The table itself is attractive and the size is as stated in the description. What did not work for me is that I paid to have it assembled and it is damaged. I have no way to un-assemble it and return it. I tried to contact the seller by phone and email. Neither works. I think it can simply be touched up or repaired by a furniture repair contractor. I spoke with Amazon and they informed me I must contact the seller. The only option is to return it, which again, doesn’t make sense and is not possible for me. Do we throw things away because they are damaged or do we try to repair them? Personally, I would like to have it repaired by a furniture repair person and make it work. I wish I was able to reach someone about this. It seems like a reasonable request.

Beautiful Very Beautiful! I never thought I’d order a dinning set of the internet to put together. But between myself and my husband took us about 1.5 hours to put everything together It’s my first time putting anything together like this and it was super fun. I enjoyed myself lol. Back to the table, it’s beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. I love how perfect the table is and the flux chairs are just perfect, a tad hard but we’ve found the more you sit on it the softer it gets. I would definitely recommend this table and 4 chair set. Doesn’t even take long to put together.
