Decent quality for the price, nice looking
I was a little uneasy ordering such a large piece and having it freight shipped, but it arrived in very good shape. Table came in one big box. Chairs came in smaller boxes (2 to a box). Scheduled freight delivery was a bit late, but I was at the end of the day so it is understandable. Two guys brought it into my living room exactly where I asked.Table: You need 2 people to handle the table to get it ready to be assembled. It is VERY heavy. It is easy to assemble – basically just attach the legs and then “unsecure” the butterfly leaf part of the table. It’s a very nice piece, very solid – no wobble at all.Chairs: You can assemble these by yourself. They are more time consuming that the table. Instructions were very detailed and straightforward. First chair took maybe 30 mins and then the next ones were like 15 mins each. The most challenging part is getting the seat to be level with the back and the legs. We had a few that had a slight wobble to them and needed to be adjusted. Nothing extreme, but they did need some “fixing” after the fact. They are sturdy and high quality.Some of the chairs had very minor imperfections, but nothing too noticeable – and nothing that is not going to happen anyway over the course of usage.We got the 8 chair set and I will say it will be tight putting that many people around it – they fit, but I can see elbows bumping. We will rarely use all 8 chairs, so I will be putting 2 chairs away and have 6 “on display” in the Dining Room to be used on a day to day basis. Another 6-12 inches would have been better on the table for the 8 person config.Would recommend.

WOW
This dining room table and chairs set from Bison is WOW. The quality of the piece is unbelievable. Sturdy and a beautiful finish. It was so easy to put together. And the value. Wasn’t expecting such a quality piece for the price. I paid twice that for my previous set and they are no where near the same quality. It looks stunning in my dining room. I would definitely recommend using this company. I will if I need anything else. Thank you.

Great value for the money, very sturdy!
Moved into a new house and finally have the room for a beautiful table! I love how easy it was to assemble, especially after having to move boxes and furniture! The sturdiness is surprising given the price! Great value for the money!

Arrived damaged in two places. The factory should never have let this go.
Our table is beautiful, but arrived damaged. One table leg had a gouge out of it that HD been painted over. Also, an horizontal support wood was split where someone at the factor apparently had over tightened screws. I sent photos. The company says they will ship a new leg,but expects us to return the leaf of the table! It is heavy! We’ll hire a carpenter to replace the damaged piece. They need better quality control.

Not bad but…..
Overall the quality of the build is pretty good. Color was darker than we were expecting but got used to it very quickly. Assembly was easy and straight forward, packing was done well and delivery was on time and as expected. The only issue I have found with the table is the finish scratches EXTREMELY easy! Just having a plate on the table and moving it scratched it the surface the entire circumference of the bottom of the plate. Overall decent product just finish is not durable.

Great for the price
Overall, great for the price. Solid wood, but don’t over tighten the bolts on the chair it will crack the wood. But worth 4 stars!
