Great quality. Simple to install.
This is my first in-wall cable management install. And now that I have completed it, I can say that the overall design of this system is excellent! You will need to provide your own electric drill and stud finder, but the kit comes with a high quality hole saw blade. You attach the saw blade to your electric drill to make the two holes necessary for the brackets. When I installed my in-wall cable management kit, I came across a couple of unforseen problems. So I did take me a bit longer than what the website said it would. Since my install was on an outside wall (a load bearing wall), I encountered a 2×4 going across horizontally, which blocked the path for the cables. So I had to patch that hole and drill another hole below the 2×4. But because of the hole-cutting blade, I had the perfect size piece of drywall to patch the first hole and got that taken care of quickly. No biggy – just lost time. Reset the clock. Start over. Cutting the two holes was quick, but then when I tried to pass the cables I found out that there was a metal pipe going through the wall horizontally near the ground. It took some careful threading to get the plug end of the cable bracket to go past the pipe, but it eventually did. I fed the HDMI cables through the wall and through the brackets. Then I snapped them into the wall and added the frame-like ring of plastic to cover the rough edges of the drywall. A word of advice – definitely feed all cables through before snapping the bracket in place. It is easier to fish the cables through the holes in the wall and then feed them through the bracket prior to snapping the bracket into the wall. If not for these two set-backs, it would have been a very simple install that could have been done in less than 30 minutes. The actual cable kit is very easy to work with and install as long as everything goes as planned. The finished product looks great and costs a lot less than paying for an electrician to come out and install a hardwired, in-the-wall bracket. The only difference is you have to use an extension cord, which is provided with the kit. The female end of the extension cord plugs into the bottom bracket and the male end of the extension cord plugs into your regular wall outlet. For me, the extension cord is hidden by my TV console though, so I’m glad I did it myself and didn’t spend a lot of money to have an electrician come out and do it. The final product is a professional looking wall mount system without the expense!

Professional grade plugs.
It was either this or hire an electrician to run a new outlet for my wall mounted TV. This is a great alternative to hard wiring and is both clean-looking and professional with the UL listing. The length of the wire was more than enough for my needs. I like how other wires like HDMI cable, etc. can also be run through it after itâs installed. The installation took 20-30 minutes. Be careful of other electrical or plumbing in your walls when drilling the hole with the saw they give you.

Simple Perfection
This device is an easy DIY with professional quality results. The circular saw could be problematic as indicated by other reviews. However, if you drill a pilot hole using a 7/32 bit prior to using the saw, it makes the cut effortlessly in one attempt.I would recommend this to anyone. The result speaks for itself.

Easy to install!
I like it because the instructions were very clear, and it includes the saw needed to cut the upper and lower holes in the drywall, to ensure a perfect fit for the receptacles that are inserted in the wall. I used this kit to hide the power cord for a 65″ LG TV that I mounted on a wall, along with an HDMI cable for a blue-ray disc player. It is a nice, tidy set-up, and took less than 30 minutes to install…a great kit, even for someone not that handy!

Pretty simple and attractive solution.
Pretty good. Easy to use. Nice that it comes with a drill bit. One caveat in that if you loosen to add another cable donât fully undo the screw or the arm can fall into the wall.

Easy installation and works well
Instructions were written well and easy to follow, installation was around 30 minutes and came with the correct size holesaw for pieces to fit in the drywall. Looks nice when done and it works great.

Easy installation
I installed this on an inside wall with no insulation and found it to be a painless install. It’s a great value for the money, and the look of it is professional. I’ve had this for about two years and it functions wonderfully. Very clean look.

The instructions were clear (and written with a sense of humour). This device was quick and easy to install. The only thing I struggled with was pushing the insulation out of the way to run the wires behind the wall because I installed it on an exterior wall. (But in the end I managed without having to remove any insulation.) Some other brands require you to cut a rectangular opening with a drywall saw. I love that this opening is circular and that they include the drill bit to cut the hole.

Everyone should use this item when mounting a TV to the wall. I provides a simple & safe solution to hide the cables. Drill holes with the included hole saw, drop the cables down from top to bottom, install. Very functional.

Great kit to run tv cables in the wall. Comes with everything you need including a drill adapter to drill out the appropriately sized hole.

Just wish it would have been made clear that you need 3 inches of clearance behind the wall for it to fit before buying. Live in a condo where wall studs are smaller than 2×4 so I had to get creative to make it fit. Not sure if echogear makes a slim version for condo walls or not.
