Perfect
I have had one of these locks on my front door for about 8 months and just bought another for my back door. These locks are awesome. They work with wifi and Bluetooth, are self calibrating, easy to install, have a long battery life, are biometric friendly (actually works very well), has a keyed backup, and is very high quality. The keypad touch screen is well lit and accurate to the touch. You can operate the lock remotely, using the app, and are alerted, through the app, every time the lock is used. I really can’t think of any way to improve this product.

Works great, easy to use, user friendly app, has scheduled times options
After buying the Schlageâs most expensive lock and it never connecting to our WiFi even after calling customer service, we returned it and started researching again, which was the next best option for a short term rental lot and this one had really high reviews. We installed it, which was super easy, it connected immediately and perfectly to our Wi-Fi and the app is user-friendly and worked from the start! The fingerprint is easy and slick. Exactly what we were looking for! So excited to have it working so smoothly. One thing I loved is for the short term rental. We can pick the password that we give to people instead of like our last one that it randomly assigns it. One of the main things we were looking for was a lock that we could do a scheduled code for so that we can start it and end it when our guests come and go, and those were extremely hard to find but this one does that perfectly!

Works great – little quirky
This is a solidly built lock that really does work very well. Itâs extremely smooth and integrates with the Eufy app seamlessly. It was super easy to install and really have had zero issues with it. I LOVE the auto lock feature that can be scheduledâ¦my kids and I forget sometimes, so itâs nice to know that itâll auto lock if we forget. The ONLY thing that I donât like is that the finger reader is a bit fussy. Finger placement and pressure has to be exact before it will read. But, otherwise this is great!

Works great and no more Smart hub needed !
I’ve owned the C220 lock for a month and have found it to work really well. It took about 10 minutes to install and no modifications to my door were needed. The lock is well constructed and is heavy. The management app is well done and easy to navigate.Things to note:1. Some older people can have hard to read fingerprints. This is not specific to Eufy. Use a code number for them instead if this is a problem.2. The battery life on my lock has been great as my wifi is close by. The further away the lock is from your WIFI access point, the more demand there is on the batteries. This is why some people report great battery life while others complain it’s terrible. I believe it took 8 batteries.. it should last a long time.3. No more smart hub!! Good riddance. Adding and removing codes or fingerprints is FINALLY easy! This might be the biggest difference.4. The touch keypad CAN be seen in direct sunlight5. I did not try the geofencing but it has the capability, provided everyone in the family has the app on their phone. It could auto-lock and auto unlock if configured to do so.6. I did not test doorbell or camera integration – but it has that feature.Gripes: These are small but need to be noted1. For renters: temporary/scheduled access codes work fine but there is no integration with text messaging (or email) to create the code and send it in a single process. Heck, the app is already managed on your mobile – why not do this? Now I have to separately send a text with all the details when this could have been easier.2. When using a number codes, you have to press the keypad once to wake it up, enter the code, and then press the enter key on the bottom right of the panel. Why do I need to press enter? Why not open the lock after a second if no additional keys are pressed and the code is correct? Now you have to tell potential renters of this requirement to press the enter key. My point is: the enter key is not be obvious to people unfamiliar with the lock.3. On the app, the battery life is shown as a tiny battery picture with lines filled in for battery life remaining. Would it have killed them to put a percentage number next to it?Overall, this is the best lock that I have tried and I have tried about 6 others to date. I hope you found this review useful.

strong lock, easy to install
This is the second Eufy lock I’ve bought. First one is slightly different model – physical key is a different design – but otherwise the same. The iPhone app is very good, fingerprint recognition is reliable, and the password scramble feature is nice. The bolt is very robust. Very good value for the price.

Surprisingly Good!!
I was very skeptical about this lock. The item description and the way it looks seemed nothing but good stuff. But it has 8% 1 star review despite over 80% 4 and 5 star reviews. I decided to give it a try since it’s free return.Installation was a breeze, done in 15 min. Connecting to my home wifi was easy. The app looks good. Notification was responsive. Remote lock and unlock works great. I was very surprised and satisfied. It’s been 3 weeks and this is a happy purchase.Whatever the negative things people pointed out was not my case. However, the finger print recognition was not great like people said but I rarely use it anyway.I almost spent more money to get s230 but am glad I stick with this one. No need more than this.

Works great.
We replaced our Kevo lock with this. What a difference. Super easy to set up and to add users. Itâs amazing not to need app open to door. Just installed but so far works great using both fingerprints and code. Highly recommend.

Good lock overall. Battery life is a lie
Batteries lasted about 2 months NOT 8. Finger print option doesnât always work. Sometimes you have to do it a few times for it to take but it could âlockdownâ 1-5minutes after several wrong attempts. Code option seems to be the best option. I love that you can unlock it from the app on the phone. I donât like that there doesnât seem to be a feature for notifications if your door has been left open or unlocked. There is a feature to automatically lock the door after a few seconds or minutes. It was easy to install.

It has been a month or so since I purchased this lock. I wanted to test it for some time before writing a review. And now a month later, I can say definitively that this is the best smart lock in the market. It simply just works.Once I installed the lock, it paired with the eufy app seamlessly. The features I looked for where all found in this lock:1. Lock must be smart (ie. connects to the wifi to allow me to control it remotely and get status if itâs locked or not at night). Being smart, it means I can generate one time codes to let people in remotely over the wifi. This convenience you wont have with a non-smart lock or Bluetooth connected locks. As those require you to be next to the lock to make modifications like add a new entry code or allow someone in.2. Fingerprint entry. This is a game changer in terms of convenience. You want the fingerprint feature as it will save you a ton of time. You donât have to manually enter digits one at a time. Itâs a must have time saver.3. Key pad. In case I want to let a guest in, they can enter using the keypad. I can generate a one time code ahead of time and send it to them via messaging.4. Back up USB power port: In the rare case your batteries run out, this convenient power allows you to power the lock with a USB power bank and let you in the house. Then you can replace the batteries.5. Battery powered: it uses 8xAA batteries, which seems a lot at first, but it means it will last long. It has been 1 month now and the lock is working very well. Using removable batteries makes this product more affordable, which is a huge plus.6. It looks good!7. Customer service has been really kind to me.The above 7 reasons make this lock an unbeatable lock. Yes, it doesnât have a camera and it doesnât have a door bell feature, but I already have a doorbell camera in my front door. I use this smart lock in my back door.A note on customer service:Customer service is very good. After I purchased the smart door lock and then after opening it, I realized that my door had an old style drive-in plate instead of the modern square plate. The instructions that came with the product said to contact customer service. My initial thought was that customer service would have a really difficult time to solve my problem. But to my surprised, they were very helpful. There was a little confusion in the beginning, but when they figured out what I was missing, they went above and beyond to help me locate the necessary part and then placed an order for me. This showed me that they really care. I have trust in the brand and the products and now recommend to friends and family! If you are having some doubts or havenât quite decided on which smart lock you want to use in your home, this is that lock. Get it. You will love it. If you have money and need some more features like video camera, eufyâs got you. Trust me, just get it, you wonât regret. Enjoy the convenience of a modern smart lock for your home, family, and friends.

the locks themselves once set up work great but these are in remote apartments and needed t last a long time. The advert specifically states they last 8 months. mine lasted 4 weeks on 1 device and 6 on the other. very poor performance – about 10-15 locks/unlock cycles and the battery is dead. i deliberately placed a new wifi router next to the doors to guarantee a strong signal (5 feet away) so it cant be that.

Best product Iâve bought all year!!! We LOVE the finger print option it makes it so much easier when your hands are full with groceryâs and the dog. Product is great overall for security as you can set different codes for different people (dog walker, house cleaner) you also get notification when someone comes and goes. You can lock/unlock from your phone. Weâve had it for just over a month and havenât had any issues – easy installation and battery life also seems fine.

I recently installed the eufy C220 Smart Lock, and overall, Iâm very pleased with its performance. The installation process was straightforward, and the lock offers multiple ways to unlock the door, including fingerprint, keypad, app control, and traditional keys. The fingerprint reader is particularly impressive, providing quick and reliable access. The lockâs design is sleek and modern, fitting well with my homeâs aesthetic. The Wi-Fi connectivity ensures I can control and monitor the lock remotely, which adds a layer of convenience and security. The ability to set up multiple codes and fingerprints is a great feature, especially for a household with several members. However, the largest drawback is that the key to lock cannot be rekeyed to match other smart locks in the house. Even if it is the same c220 it cannot match.Despite these minor issues, the eufy C220 Smart Lock is a solid choice for anyone looking to upgrade their home security with smart technology. It offers a good balance of features, reliability, and ease of use.

Honestly the lock itself is really good and it works well. But it’s integrations with Google and Alexa are absolutely and utterly garbage. It connects to both but NEVER works with either. Controlling it with Google home or Alexa app just shows wrong info like locked when it’s actually unlocked. Using voice commands fail 100% of the time over the last few months. It honestly feels like some intern added the bare minimum so it connects to said smart home apps just so they can advertise as such and never actually spent any time with actual development. You can make the best locks but if it doesn’t work with unifying apps it’s no good. The last thing people want to do is open ANOTHER app on their phone.
