Convenient, easy to install and operate
I bought two of this for my front and back doors. Installation was a breeze. Both locks are connected to the Eufy app (as well as an Eufy Doorbell camera) so both me and my wife can control everything from the app. I also set a code for my son in case he wants to come while we are out. I like that you have the flexibility to enter using the app, or a code, or a good old-fashioned key (in case the batteries run out of charge). The lock seems well-built, and sturdy.

Handy and secure
After locking myself out late at night and having to pay a hefty fee for a locksmith, I decided to invest in a smart lock to prevent that from ever happening again. Locksmith actually recommended it and said door handle locks pretty much provide no security and that itâs the deadbolt that actually matters. If you have no handle lock, thereâs no way to lock yourself out unless you used your key then threw it away. This lock has been so convenient and helpful. You have so many options on how to unlock your door and how to let others unlock your door (temporary codes, one time codes, etc). We have a lot of eufy items and havenât been disappointed in any of them, this one included. Material and durability both seem great. Wasnât too tricky installing it either if youâve done doorknobs and locks before. Highly recommend this!

High Quality
Quality door lock and handle. It is satisfying to use. I recommend buying the whole set. The face plate for the door frame portion works very well with the door. If your door doesnât seamlessly close after install, replace your lock plate with the one provided in the kit.

So far, so great! Superior to other smart locks for reasons listed below.
This is a great smart lock for many reasons:* Actual buttons â my previous smart lock had a glossy screen with digital buttons, but that screen cracked in the sun making it super hard to see the digits. Real buttons will not have that same problem.* No gateway needed! This lock has wifi built-in, which is super rare for smart locks, but I’m a big fan!* Comes with a door lever (without a lock) as well. This is great because my previous lever has a lock, and the smart lock becomes useless when the door latch is locked.* Nice looking, easy to installSo far, I have a couple cons, which I hope can be resolved with fresh batteries. (I put new ones in, but the battery indicator in the app indicates they are not full/fresh)I’ll update this review if the new batteries resolves the issues.* The firmware will not updateâ¦ it says it will take about 18 minutes (in the app), and it gets through about 5 minutes and fails. I’m hoping it’s because it needs fresh batteries.* Alexa does not work â this appears to be related to the missing firmware update, but I don’t know until that problem is resolved. Google Home DOES work.

Best lock ever
For years I wanted a digital lock and this did the job I can manage it via aMobile app and ontopOfThat can use a 8 digit code installation was easy thanks !

Disappointed!
I bought this lock because of other Eufy locks that I have and this one does not work anything like the others. You put in the code and it doesnât update. Then after playing with it for about 30 minutes it will update. All my other Eufy locks notify me immediately when theyâre activated or open/lock but this one does not. Not sure if it was a fluke or just not working properly. Canât use the lock.
