Exterior hardware looks sleeker than most
Of course I want a country farmhouse style look to my door. Everything in my home has black fixtures to go with that farmhouse style. While the door I chose has that barn-door look, this heavy duty, smooth-rolling hardware looks a little sleeker than most barn door hardware. This is for my tiny house which has glass doors for lighting. Still, I wanted the door to be a little better protected, even hidden. Once I close my exterior barn door to cover the glass door, No one even knows it’s a house. They just assume it is a barn or shed. I love that.

Very impressed
I have a barn door that I’m installing and I wanted something that would be heavy duty and have a sleeker look to it than some that I’ve seen. This fits both of those. All of the brackets, rails and even the bolts that come in this kit are all of high quality and heavy gauge steel. The instructions are very clear and installation is what would be expected so no complaints. I will be looking to buy from this company again for the next barn door project.

A great barn door sliding track.
I am very impressed with the quality of the door slide and hardware included. This is very heavy duty and will keep even a heavy door on the track and inline. I recently had sliding doors put on a pole shed. Big heavy doors 12 ft wide. This track is higher quality than that track. Very pleased that this set includes stoppers and a floor guide to keep the door in place. This track was installed in our kitchen with a farmhouse theme. It fits right in and looks wonderful. The best part is that the pretty door is visible whether open or closed. I did install extra stoppers to prevent kids from squishing their fingers when sliding the door hard. You will be happy with this door sliding track.

Not just for the barn…
I’m setting up a home recording studio in my basement (for music recording, YouTube channel and podcast). Since I do not have a traditional door framed in that can section off the area we use for recording, I’m using this sliding barn door tracking kit as a way to close off the entry point. Instead of a door, It’s a large multi-layer panel of acoustic tile. So far, so good – the slide works well (very smooth on the track) and looks great in the space. I have very few concerns about the durability of this track (the thing is built for a barn to be used outside with a heavy barn door – whereas mine will be inside moving some lightweight foam panels). So, for my purposes, it’s probably overkill, but I’m really happy with it.
