Loved the floating entertainment idea! Makes our living room look very nice! Easy to clean, don’t have to worry about dust bunnies, everything has a cute decoration place. Only one thing I wish was different about it; that would be maybe a slight lip of some sort or maybe came with some non-slip fabric for decoration we placed on it due to the fact whenever we watch a movie or listen to music the vibration makes everything fall off. Oh! One more thing! DEFINITELY make sure u have an extra hand of help when it comes to hanging ot up. It’s pretty heavy to place it alone. Completely easy to build though.

It looks good BUT itâs tough to install if you donât have enough studs to anchor it down with. I installed it on a short wall. So trying to center it with what studs were available was hard. I had to find another way to anchor it down. So just take that into consideration if youâre buying the large one. Hiding wires is also an issue but just google some ideas and youâll figure something out. We have an older Xbox and it didnât fit flush in any of the cubbies. Other than that, itâs sturdy and looks great under the tv.

Good product, but hard to mount
The idea of this floating shelf is great for the most part. It looks good (for what you pay). Itâs not the greatest material, but at the same time solid wood parts would make this incredibly heavy. Pretty good instructions on assembly, too.Now, the mounting. Mounting this shelf was two seconds short of a nightmare. Iâm not the most handiest person, but Iâve hung and mounted things before. The problem comes in a couple different ways. The hardware that comes with this, is not very good quality. The screws/bolts are a little thin and not good quality. I ended up going to my local hardware store to purchase something more sufficient for the job. And the other part was the holes to mount the shelf where not aligned to the 16â spacing for wall studs. I have to create my own with a combination of using L brackets to add support. I managed to mount it, but thatâs because I had a little extra experience. I wouldnât recommend this particular project to someone would is not familiar with mounting.Would I get it again? Probably not if the hardware and measurements were the same. Iâm glad I got it up, but it was way harder than it should be.This DOES NOT come with LED lights. I added that myself after I mounted it. I had to cut a hole into the shelf splitting the second and third cubby to pull the lights through. That was my own decision to make.3/5 stars.

This thing is awesome and huge
We got this for my sonâs game room for Christmas and it is way better than I thought it was going to be. It was a lot bigger and sturdier and more beautiful than I thought. It is extremely heavy, so you definitely need to get it into the studs and use all of the hardware! But we have it up and itâs holding all of his video game consoles and it just looks cool and like I said itâs really big. Definitely recommend this product!

I have installed this media console to the dry wall backed with firewall with no studs. I had to buy a stud-less wall mount, good instructions and great qualityI bought the 71â console and tv is 65â.
