A solution for dark hallways
I might use this a little differently than others. I have a dark hallway with a 90 degree turn from the garage into the rest of the house. Enough light enters the hallway from room openings to find my way but it is too dark to read something if I wanted to, for example. I used these bulbs in three ceiling light cans. The bulb is exposed, not behind a lens. I turn the wall switch “on” during the day and the lights come on as I pass through, which is especially useful if I’m carrying something. I shut the switch off at night so no one is blinded on their way to the kitchen or bathroom and rely on night lights. The color temperature setting is a great feature.

Worked for a while. Not going to buy again.
Light goes on and off while room is empty. Gives great light when it is on but I wanted a lightbulb that is motion sensitive. This one is VERY sensitive and turns on & off on its own. Had to replace with a standard bulb that can be turned on or off manually.

Works great as a sensor light!
I used this bulb on my overhead light at my front door once my outdoor sensor stopped working. This bulb worked great and the distance of the range that the bulb picks up is phenomenal! What a great new innovation!

Turns on and off multiple times when triggered
Not sure if the product I have is defective. This bulb turns on and off repeatedly if you are below it. Kind of annoying as I have it above a sink where I often cannot access a light switch or pull-cord. Will have to dump this n future and go with a voice activated (Alexa) light bulb.

Motion sensing Feit bulbs
These bulbs are terrific. I liked them so much that I replaced the newly purchased sensing lanterns on both sides of my front door with plain lanterns and these bulbs. There are 3 settings in the bulbs I purchased but I used the factory setting on both.The best part is that their customer service is outstanding. I purchased two bulbs recently from Home Depot but the motion sensor failed on both of them after a few days. I called their customer service and explained to them my problem. The CS worked with me on the phone to test the bulbs at my home and after they confirmed that the bulbs did not work, Feit sent me 2 newer version bulbs as replacement.After this excellent experience with Feit I bought 2 more bulbs from Amazon and the bulbs work great. The advantage here is that you can use these bulbs with the lanterns you already have at your door and eliminate the need for an electrician to replace plain lanterns with motion-sensing lanterns. It is saving of a few hundred dollars depending on where you live.

I love this motion detector bulb
I hung it just above my garage door entry into my home. It come on IMMEDIATELY when the door opens and lights the steps down to my garage floor. Very convenient and a nice safety item. I installed the other one above my garage workbench for the same reason. For a quick trip to the garage it is perfect. Highly recommend this!Now about 10 days later, I ordered a second bulb and it must be defective, because it doesn’t turn off after the 5 minutes it says it will. Now I don’t know what to think!
