Look nice, but not Stable
The hardware to mount to the wall is certainly strong enough, and they do include a number of mounting anchors and screws. However, the manner in which the shelf slides on to the metal wall bracket leaves a lot of “play” and the shelf will not sit level/perpendicular to the wall. The shelf will tip downward a few degrees making it appear as though items will slide off if they don’t have enough friction to hold on. I will need to re-engineer the manner in which they mount if I want them to sit correctly.

Not sturdy at all
These shelves are very poorly built, and the wall mounting piece does not keep them stable at all. You can literally grab the shelf and wobble it up and down like an inch. I had to get metal support brackets for them and now they are sturdy, but Iâd recommend going with different shelves entirely.

TERRIFIC SHELVES ARE WONDERFUL!!!
These Fixwal 15.8-inch Floating Shelves are terrific. They are the right size for my application and look great. Their profile is just right for small objects, and you will not require a curio cabinet or anything bulky that will distract from the items you want to display. They were easy to install, and they have a hole on the bottom where you can add a screw to secure the shelves to the bracket that is secured to the wall. It’s a terrific solution and a great value! I highly recommend them.

Floating shelves
Shelves are what I have been looking for? Sturdy and practical. Perhaps they could be a little thinner, but they great where I have hung them in my kitchen.

Very light eight. Nice, but not sturdy.
I purchased these shelves to put above my coffee bar. The support bracket is basically inside under where the ball jar that says coffee and the ball jar that says decaf is. So basically not a very sturdy shelf at all. I couldnât use my actual canister set. I used old ball jars because theyâre light weight. My canister set would be far too heavy. I donât recommend these for anything heavy or for books etc. They look good, but feel like theyâre made basically for show.

Poor Quality Item That is Not Fit for Purpose
When ordering these I expected not to get a high quality item given the price, but somehow the quality was lower than I could have every imagined. Initial impressions were not good – the top shelf came crushed in a couple of places (although there was no damage to the box in these places – there was other damage to the box but I’m wondering if the shelf was shipped damaged). Since the damage was to the back part of the shelf I went ahead and decided to install. The shelf itself is hollow so it’s basically just mdf around some type of lightweight structure. The finish also easily marks with fingerprints. Once installed, the shelf was mostly straight but there was a gap between the shelf and the wall (not sure if it was the wall or the shelf on this). The big issue is that as soon as I put anything on the shelf – in this case, a couple of vinyl LPs with plastic stands – the shelf leans forward considerably. So, outside of putting something on these shelves that’s styrofoam light, the shelf will lean obviously forward which is unacceptable and looks like garbage to boot. It’s a nice idea that’s ruined by extremely poor execution.

These were the perfect size shelves to add to my living room. Easy to install.
