Ripped out of wall
Purchased since we have a smaller space where our TV is and needed an item that wouldnât block the doorway of our guest room. As far as quality – it is fine and does the job. Fairly simple to get hung up but the anchors are a nightmare and continued to bend and break when trying to insert. We eventually got some to work (had them in our tool drawer from another project). We had the shelf up for a little under a month and sure enough, in the middle of the day we heard a large crash and found the shelf had ripped out of the wall. We are lucky that it didnât pull our tv off the mount or cause anything to break. It damaged our wall and put an indent in the area it connected with the wall. I went back to look at weight bearing before writing a review – we only had our Alexa, a vase and a handful of books. Not enough to warrant the shelf to collapse based on the weight capacity.If you are confident that you wonât be placing many items on this then it does the job. Iâm sure if you secured with larger screws or additional enforcement youâll be fine.

BUY LONGER SCREWS FOR THE MOUNTING TO THE WALL PART. TRUST ME.
I installed this floating shelf in my wall but I was 100% sure it would stay on the wall. The screws that are supposed to be used to mount the shelf to the wall are WAY TOO SMALL for the even the weight of the actual shelf. I went and bought longer screws to make sure it was secured into the studs of the wall. I did this because after buying the shelf, I read the reviews before receiving the item. When I did receive the item, I realized why it was falling on of the wall for other people.

Be prepared, it’s heavy!
I love how clean this looks, the all black is classy and can go in most rooms. Unfortunately it is slightly too big for the area that I originally planned for but my husband quickly swooped in and claimed it for his man cave. He may have liked it even more than I did. The pull down doors are really nice. You will need to people to hang this up, I was really surprised how heavy this is. Overall very happy with this.

Nails do not support
It fell off the wall and some of the particle board buckled. Nails/screws do not work for putting together and onto the wall!!!
