We followed the instructions and assembled it properly, however a few days after being hung up it crashed down . This is so cheaply made that it couldn’t even support its own weight. The screws literally ripped out of its own wood. Also, I’ll add that I didn’t add any additional weight to it once it was hung up under my mounted tv. DON’T BUY THIS ! you’re welcome 🙂
