Kind of a woven fabric
I have an Airbnb, so I wanted to brighten up the living room a little bit with a new rug.Pros: The pattern is fun and the distressing is a nice touch for a boho feel. I love the backing on it. It is very non-slip. It washes very easily. I am always shocked at how many people wear muddy shoes in my house. The VERY FIRST guest to use this rug wiped his muddy feet on it and then watched TV with muddy feet. I was actually shocked at how easy it was to take a microfiber cloth and wipe up the stains. They came off very easily.Cons: Very thin rug. I will need to get a a rug pad. The fabric is not very soft at all. In fact, I really don’t like to put my feet on it. It has a woven fabric fee. It collects lint and particles like CRAZY. I had to vacuum it 3 times after laying it down just to get rid of the threads, lint, etc that had collected.I do think it adds a cute touch to my Airbnb. We shall see how well the guests take care of it. I find people are on their worst behavior when they stay at short term rentals and I imagine this will be too dirty to use before too long at all.

Perfect rug for my kitchen
I have a long stretch of floor in between my island and the fridge that Iâve always struggled with because it collects dirt and spills more than any other spot (other than right in front of my sink) in the kitchen. Because itâs a spot that also connects into the dining room and the laundry room it has a lot of traffic and requires a rug that doesnât create any tripping hazards or is difficult to clean. This rug fits the bill perfectly. The rug has a very low profile and the back is nice a grippy creating a nice surface for a kitchen walkway. When I got the rug it was folded in the package and did come out with pretty significant creases so before I put the rug out I washed it and the creases disappeared and the rug laid flat. The design is really beautifully simple and adds a lovely touch to the kitchen without overwhelming any other design elements. Within the first day I spilled coffee on the rug and sat back to the wash it wentâ¦.again it came out perfectly clean and ready to lay out flat. This is a great rug for high traffic or high mess areas because of its low profile and ease of cleaning.
