Not carpet material
Overall for the price I got it at on sale, Iâm not that mad. Itâs probably easily machine washable, but itâs a slick fake fur feeling blanket. It does have a lining with little dots on the bottom, but you still feel like you could very easily slip on it.

Soft and fluffy
I have a puppy and sometimes accidents happen. I can toss this in the washrr and it comes out looking new. I do put in the dryer for 5 minutes on LOW temp, fluffs up the carpet and it’s still soft.

Looks great!
This looks way better than I thought it would for the price. Just take it outside and shake it and it looks brand new. Haven’t tried washing it as directed but seemed like it was pretty simple. Like the cushion it’s pretty plush. No shedding so far

Maybe a better starter rug
The chunsemeiju Fluffy Soft Bedroom Rug,6×9 Large Rugs for Living Room Modern Shag High Pile Area Rug Home Decor(Grey) is very soft and feels nice underfoot. Unfortunately, it is somewhat problematic and probably best for dorm rooms, early apartments, or kid’s spaces. I got this rug for my second-floor hallway, which is mostly just an open space between four bedrooms and a bathroom. We were hoping that a rug over the wood floor would help dampen some of the sound. This rug doesn’t really fulfill that purpose, though that is not part of my review. The issues I have with this rug are that it came tightly folded so that there were severe creases that took weeks to disappear and that the rug is not an even square. It is misshapen so it does not fit in the space evenly. The rug still does not lay quite flat and seems to have some areas that are more plush than others. Despite these issues, it still is pleasant to look at, feels nice underfoot, and does provide a bit of noise dampening for the smaller squeaks in the floor. My son loves how soft it is, and it definitely helps in the winter when I don’t have to step on a cold wooden hallway to get to the bathroom first thing in the morning. As it is a shag rug, it is a bit of a challenge to keep clean, and I don’t envision this being a long-term solution, but the price is extremely reasonable for a rug of this size, so I am happy with it for the time being.
