I ordered 16 inches bracket and received 11 inches which is of no use to me so have returned it. Material is good and robust but unfortunately for sending me the wrong item deliberately or by mistake you earned 1 star from me!

Product is not of very good quality.The rivets are very cheap and looseI don’t think it will support anything heavy .It’s ok for something light I guess .Also the finish is not as good as the pictures displayed .

Decent folding shelf / worktop counter brackets
I used 4 of these folding brackets to mount a 6′ section of butcher block countertop as a fold down two station work place in my ob/livestreaming van. The countertop was ripped from 24″ deep down to 18″ to allow extra chair space while still allowing for 2 generous 3′ work areas for video production.The brackets are well constructed and nicely finished. I used 3/4″ marine plywood attached to the van’s cargo area pillers as a solid mounting base, attached each of the four brackets with 4 – 3/4″ #8 grade 6 wood screws & attached the top with 3 of the same. When folded down I only lose 2″ of cargo area width.I did add nylon e clips to the pins holding the sliding “struts” which prevents noise while driving over rough road surfaces. I would buy these again for similar projects.

Quality is very nice, light in weight yet strong. Size is exactly what I ordered. It’s very smooth, folds and opens very smoothly. Definately value for money.

EXCELLENT CHOICE Aesthetically streamlined, sturdy, & easy to fold: Love its engineering
We did our due diligence when looking for folding brackets. Heavy duty is the optimum word, along with extreme strength, easy to use and great aesthetics.We wanted said brackets for over our garbage container in the kitchen, which when folded up would keep our Siamese safe and optimize usable space above said container. When we are cooking, our Siamese has the tenancy to jump up and sit on top of the container, which as a trap door, which does end well… and… she falls in. Either way, we needed to find a solution.Thus, these DIY Brackets, with a Max Load: 150 lb (12 Inch, Black) were an excellent choice for all aspects needed. I couldnât be any happier with these drop down hinges. Theyâre perfect for attaching my large cutting board to my counter so that itâs out of the way when not needed, but I just bring it up and I instantly have a cutting board or even additional counter space. When in the up position, it is sturdy & dependable, no fear of putting pressure on it while cutting or putting pots of food on it. In the down position, it stays secure & is a great slim design.

The brackets are sturdy and easy to fold up and down.
I used them to make a small table in a travel trailer. I wanted the table to fold down for travel and these brackets work well for that. I kind of wish the part that goes along the wall were longer just for my piece of mind with support, but I think the latch mechanism to hold them up and fold them down is solid.

BEST SHELF BRACKETS EVER!
I will only buy these shelf brackets from now own. I have ordered these 3 times. They are so sturdy…better than anything I have ever used. These brackets are sturdy when they lock in place. No worries if the lock should undo….Can’t happen. I recommend using your own wall anchors though. I find the plastic wall anchors included never ever work for anything let alone for a shelf of any kind. I throw them out. IF I don’t put the screws into the studs then I use plastic anchors that fan out….or the metal toggle bolts that have wings. The rest of those plastic anchors are no good in my opinion. I have been putting up shelves for over 55 years so I know what works and what does not. I learned all that from my Dad who was a carpenter!
