Pretty and Helpful
I have hurt my knee so it can be hard to keep my knee bent. I purchased this to help me prop my foot up and keep my knee straight, which it does perfectly. It also looks really nice. It felt really sturdy and was quite easy to put together. If I ever need another footrest, I will be getting one of these again.

Perfect for under my desk
I was looking for a foot stool for under my desk and this one looked perfect so I bought it and I am so glad that I did. It is the perfect size. When I sit in my office chair I just put my feet onto this foot stool and it is so relaxing. Trust me, this is one great foot stool that you will enjoy, plus it looks great.

Easy assembly but not the highest quality
The wooden legs each come as an assembly to which one attaches the horizontal cross bars with the provided screws using the provided Allen wrench. Once the substructure is assembled machine screws attach it to the top, again using the Allen wrench. The whole assembly took about 10 minutes and I wasn’t rushing. It is very sturdy and doesn’t have any give. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the fabric covering on the seat. It has wrinkles on the ends and at the corners rather than crisp folds. Brand new it looks like an amateur home recover project that almost came out right.

Solid Wood
I use Amazon all the time but rarely write reviews. I am honestly impressed with how nicely made this product is. It was well/smartly packaged and simple! The product is very sturdy and comfy. I bought the black which came with black screws, a nice touch! I also bought the light wood and it came with gold screws as expected. Items were both consistently packaged without defects.

Sturdy!
This is perfect for what I wanted it for. Fits under my desk so I can prop my feet up if needed.I was very surprised at how sturdy it is. I love the style of it too. The cushion cover is such a nicebonus! I’m sure I will use and enjoy using this footstool for many years to come.

Poorly engineered, but I made it work
The pre-drilled screw holes for attaching the top to the base do not properly align, but I was able to Gerry-rig things to make them fit. Also, one leg on the base was shorter than the other three, and the stool wobbled on hard flooring. Fortunately I was using it on a carpet and it was less an issue. The stick-on rubber feet (designed to prevent scratches on the floor) lost their stickiness in two weeks and fell off. But again, since Iâm using the footstool on carpet this was not an issue. Finally, the elastic-hemmed top cover does not properly fit and looks loose and wrinkly. I could place a folded terrycloth hand towel underneath to fill it out, but so few people will actually see it (itâs in a closet when Iâm not watching TV in the den) that itâs not worth the bother. For such a low price, I guess I got what I deserved.
