I ordered this to replace a broken factory GE handle. Side-by-side this replacement is slightly more polished than the factory part, but you can not notice any difference once it’s installed. Installation was pretty easy, although this replacement handle is about 5mm too long between boltholes; I had to have a second person help me flex the handle so we could lineup the screws holes. I’m not sure what exactly is “upgraded” other than the new screws being longer. Looking at the factory handle, it seems like if the factory just used longer screws, the original handle probably would not have broken. For the price this is a good value at half of what I could find a genuine GE handle for, so think it’s a terrific value.

Purchased to replace original handle broken during installation. The handle worked well with my original screws. Sadly the new handle is rounded not flat like the original in my photo.The price was right, but I’m giving it four stars since the part number should match properly, and I’ll have to keep searching. But it works for now…

Was missing the bottom end of handle. The handle though did feel nice and of good quality compared to factory Samsung handle.
