Tricky Instructions, but looks great
This coffee table is really great quality for the price. It took me about 3 hours to put together, but I am one person with a screwdriver. The instructions could be a little more specific, for instance at one point I had to backtrack a few steps to switch a board that was placed incorrectly, due to no fault of my own, just lacked the specifics in the instructions. Just ensure that the boards are symmetrical. I followed other’s advice to screw in the lifting mechanisms to the table before adding the top, and I definitely recommend that, not only because it is easier, but also because the dots on the board do not line up at all with where you will want to screw in the mechanism to the top board. Not a seamless assembly process, but if you have a brain and time you will figure it out.

Furmax Lift Coffee Table Review
This is a great, sturdy coffee table, but the downside is the directions it comes with to assemble it. The directions arenât very clear & can get confusing. Other than that, the table looks great when finished.

Hardest item Iâve ever had to assemble!
The table seems very sturdy, but this is by far the most difficult piece of furniture Iâve ever assembled because you have to build the main body of the table before attaching the lift-up top. This makes it nearly impossible to attach the lift-up top brackets to the inside of the box. In addition to that, the 2 end screws of the brackets are so close to the corner of the box that you canât screw them in. I managed to get the top one partially in and gave up on the bottom one (see picture). If I had it to do over again, I would attach the lift-top brackets to the sides of the box prior to installing the other two sides of the box. Maybe that would be easier. TIP: before starting the assembly, drill through all of the screw holes because the wood is VERY hard and the screw holes are not pre-drilled. The instructions donât mention that you need a drill, but trust me, you do.

Parts don’t fit properly and assembly is not easy
BUYER BEWARE! Be FOREWARNED that the instructions state that assembly takes and hour and requires 2 people. We spent about an hour assembling the entire table. Everything fit together properly except for the table top. The hinged table top is too large. It overlaps the stationary table top making it impossible to close -(either they cut the piece wrong or sent the wrong part) I sent photos to the seller and they asked me to ship it back via FedEx (which is impossible since I can’t deconstruct it at this point) or offered me a 15% refund. A 15% refund for a brand new table that is 100% unusable! Not pleased! Unbelievable!

Sturdy and Durable
Great product. It was a bit hard to assemble and what I ended up doing was installing the top first before the directions told me to and it worked easier. For the price this is a great little coffee table. It feels very sturdy and I can see this installed bending sold for 4X as much, so very worth it!

Great coffee table!
I was hesitant to purchase this since there were little reviews and itâs not part of prime. Cost wise, with shipping, it was the same as similar products with the same design. I was pleasantly surprised with the product. The instructions where east to follow for the most part. I did put one peice in upside down which meant later I had to take it apart to get the inside brackets for the lift top to line up. Once I did that, it fit perfectly! I love the color of it! It is not solid wood but has a finish wood grain. It seems sturdy and overall I love it. A great price for comparable items but the color in my opinion is better. It can be easily scratched though as itâs particle board with vinyl (i think) finish
