I grew up with a picnic table set that converted like this it was made out of cedar.This is nice and strong sturdy convertible from bench two picnic table. You can practically do it with one finger. It’s so light and flexible to change from bench to table I got to and use them as benches until I bring out a lunch to enjoy the day and I flip it to picnic table.In the morning I wipe it down from the due.I’ve only had this set for a couple weeks however I moved from Maine to Florida and was unable to move the set I had in Maine we loved it there as well I don’t know who wound up with it and I’m sure they liked acquiring my hand off of this version of picnic table that one was a gray slick surface this one has the would look I like this one better
