The tabs and included stakes will make it easy to keep in place on bare soil or grass.

Good looking outdoor rug.
I just made a small 6×10 deck for my camper so this outdoor rug is a perfect fit.I like the material. A bit plasticky but has some cushion and definitely water proof.I love the designs. All the patterns are actually very cool.$50 is a bit steep for a small outdoor rug hence the 4 stars vs 5 stars.Only time will tell on how long this will last.

Very portable
This “GENIMO Waterproof Outdoor Rug” is a very welcome addition to my camping kit. It folds up easily and comes with a carrying bag. The folds leave very mild creases that are easy to counteract by folding it in the opposing direction. The fibers are plastic so they shouldn’t stain easily. I tend to leave most of my kitchen stuff in the car, including a water reservoir with a pump that I set up on a magnetic shelf. Add a couple of folding tables and it’s a very convenient kitchen set up with minimal packing. The 6’x9′ size of this rug makes it perfect to set up in that area, minimizing the dust that accumulates around this makeshift kitchen and providing a more homey feel.

Very lightweight and comes in carry bag.
Pros: It is very lightweight and foldable. It comes with a nice carry case. When I folded it back up, it easily folded and went back into the carry case without any struggle.It is reversible. So you get two looks in one. Both sides look nice. I donât particularly love the design (just personal choice) but the colors are vibrant and it does look nice.I didnât test it in rain but it does appear that it would be waterproof. Itâs a plastic-type weave. I would expect that the water would seep through and it would not pool water on top. It also seems that it wouldnât stain easily. This was a problem I have had with the more straw/twine rugs. I might even be willing to use the white side for this reason. Itâd be easily washable with a water hose or a wipe.The cons: It is a little flimsy. Itâs not the thickest or most high quality. Itâs not terrible but I did take one star away from it for the quality. It also had some loose strings. Didnât bother me that much but does speak to quality.Note: This could also easily be used as a beach mat. Would work good for that! And itâs a good carrying size for it. I think sand would easily fall off and wouldnât stick to it. I intend to use it for that as well!

I have found many uses for it, from simply covering my patio floor, to putting it on the grass or cement in the courtyard for an outdoor living space, and even as far as using it as the “stage” for an informal wedding vow renewal ceremony.The materials are durable and feel spongy under your feet. The edges are finely woven and almost look similar to origami. This product in particular, has an extra wide border material that is turned under and stitched perfectly, including loops sewn into the corners for tent stakes or ropes to hold it in place.The whole thing folds neatly and comes with a zippered storage bag.

Large But Quality is Not Great
This outdoor “rug” is just ok. I get that it’s for outdoors the rug is brittle, hard to maneuver and doesn’t lay right. I’m using it for my front patio,vso I am going to use furniture racks to hold the corners and edges down.

Surprise! It’s reversible.
There were several unexpected things about this “rug”. It has a very plastic-y feel, like it’s made of plastic straws. It’s thickness is 1/16″, 3/16″ if you include the plastic “pile”. I chose the “D. blue & white” because all of the other colors seemed too dark. But surprise! the colors are reversed on the opposite side which is a mostly dark navy with white accents. I don’t know what the “D” stands for in the color description. It is possible the other colors are also reversible, perhaps to a lighter color pattern. Even though I’m not a fan of these new washable rugs and now this plastic rug, (because I like the old cushy, but mushy-when-wet rugs) I have to admit that this rug should have no problem standing up to rain, snow, hose water, etc. The other big surprise is that, walking on it in my socks, sitting on my wood laminate floor, that little 3/16″ rug actually felt surprisingly cushy. I think it will grow on me, especially with the foolproof upkeep. Since this reminds me of the old (“bamboo”) vinyl roll blinds, it may not hold up to years of sun. But at $40, I won’t complain if it lasts only 2 years.
