I put this together and everything was fine until it came time to attach the platform to the end pieces. I struggled for over an hour and I just could not get it to line up properly to attach them together (it’s hard to see on the photo, and its only off by a little bit, but it would not attach). I finally had to take the end pieces apart to attach them, then use a hammer to get the pieces back I to place. Honestly, I would have returned it, but I have out of town guests arriving in a few days and need it. The only reason it is getting two stars instead of one is that it is a nice sturdy set up, and even with the scratches and marks on the coating (from having to use a hammer), it does look nice.

Sturdy day bed
We have a similar day bed made of wood. It took us a while to realize that itâs designed for kids only because the max weight is only 160 lb! My hubby has been hesitate to sleep on it ever since. This metal frame bed is a great addition to our family! We put this in our office area, so we(adults) can rest as needed without worrying about the weight limit! It is very sturdy. Also not hard to put together, my hubby did it all by himself. The wood bed will be in our kids room

Absolutely do not buy this
This bed took 2 grown adults 3 hours to put together and honestly we could have used another grown man adult. The instructions have zero word help, just a picture and figure it out. The metal is so bent you canât get things to line up properly. We did eventually get it but not after using all our strength. I am hoping ours doesnât break like other commenters have said! Our biggest kid is only 70lbs so hereâs hoping.

I liked it. It is pretty nice but I do have to say that it squeaks a lot any movement it squeaks like crazy.

Excellent daybed & trundle!
08.14.2024 UPDATE-REDUCED RATING FROM 5 STARS TO 4: The top day bed was fine when I slept on it these past few months with my 255lb frame (bed is supposed to hold up to 300lbs), but last week I sat down on it to put my shoes on and the exterior frame rod caved into a “V.” I had to flip the top daybed bed upside down and hammer the exterior rod straight again and added reinforcements:[] 4 floorboards I had in the garage.[] An IKEA canvas support with wood sticks for added support.It seems to be holding up well for now; time will tell. One other thing: I noticed that by flipping the daybed upside down it raised the bed and allows for more room for the trundle with blankets. Whereas before I had to remove the linens from the trundle so that it would fit, snug, under the daybed.# # #01.10.2024 REVIEW: I was seriously getting ready to return the daybed package when it arrived because it was heavy, but small. I thought, there’s NO WAY that box contains both the daybed and trundle, but to our surprise it was the whole “kit & kaboodle!” Perfect for our spare room. My brother and nephew who were visiting from out of town assembled it in about 30-minutes. My brother said it would have been less but they had a “Duh-h!” Moment with the trundle and had to re-assemble it. Both my brother & nephew slept in them that same night and said they were pretty sturdy and comfortable. The other thing we all liked is that the bed is not bulky like alot of daybeds; it’s very minimalist, with a timeless contemporary style. Love it — great buy!

Not the best
This bed frame was not the easiest to put together. The metal support poles do not all fit well into the holes of the frame. Some were too big and this made it difficult to assemble. The bed frame does NOT have a 350lb weight capacity. My daughter is not even half of that but the metal frame is completely bowed in the middle. The bed is also very loud. It squeaks horribly every time my daughter moves in her sleep. This was a big disappointment and a huge waste of time and money.

Perfect design
I received it on time, and the packaging is very strong and protective. This bed is ready, very strong, and it fits my space very well. Love this perfect design, perfect for my family.

Trundle bed
Only giving it a 4 star because it was so difficult to put together but it is very sturdy and nicely built. Gives a small room extra space if you have two kids sharing a room.
