This bed is great! It saves space and works well in my small room. The futon is comfy to sit on, and it turns into a bed easily. The metal frame feels strong, and I don’t worry about it breaking. The ladders are good, and the guardrails make the top bunk safe. I also like the storage space under the futon.

I bought this with the ideal that it comes with mattresses and it doesn’t. The instructions are as bout easy as building space shuttle for NASA. It took 5 people to attempt to build this and it is the most frustrating set up in the world! Every time you get one pole in another falls out. This was by far the worst product I ever bought! If you don’t mind being frustrated or wasting time and in the end still not get it set up then this is what you want. I have seen tons of other manufacturers who make it easier to build. I regret this purchase and if I could give this negative stars I would! They owe me 20 hours of my life back! I am having to see about returning this because whoever made this did not aline the racks and braces, so in the end utterly useless and waste of my precious time and money! If you still buy this then it is on you! I hope you get lucky and the person who made yours decided to do their job properly because clearly they were either on something or just lazy when they made mine.
