The package came with a tear in the box, but the foam packaging kept the item from being damaged.It was easy to install for someone who is handy. There are some flaws in the instructions, but I have experience putting these types of products together, so I skipped over the missing parts as they are not even needed.I am dropping 1 star because of the flaws in the material. Several of the inside panels were chipping off at the edges, causing a blemish in the finished product. I found the damaged particles in the box and some damage even happened as I was putting it together. I was very careful when I noticed it, trying to keep it from happening anymore. Not real sure how it can be avoided. But, since it is being used as a book shelf, the flaws are covered with books and items.For the price of a new item being delivered. I am over-all satisfied.
