Great Rug !!
I bought 2 of these for my bathroom as replacements. I am very happy with the quality and ‘feel’ of them. They are fluffy and soft under foot, absorb water well, look great, and don’t seem to slip at all. I am very pleased with this purchase and for the price, you can’t go wrong.

We’ve had several of these Gorilla Grip bathmats in a couple colors and two sizes over the years. We use the 30x20s for what they’re intended (bath/shower mats) on our tile. We love both the look and feel BUT make sure you don’t wash or dry on *hot*–that decreases the non-slip grip. As per manufacturer instructions, use medium heat and you’ll never have a problem. We’ve had a couple of these for a couple years with absolutely no slip problems, which is vital for one of us with decreased leg/foot function. We also use a 48×24 on our leather couch for our aging Labrador. One color matches the leather really well. When company arrives, we just fold it up and don’t have to check the couch further. The mat protects the couch surface from various old dog problems, is easy to wash, keeps him warmer on the leather, and gives him a bit of grip, making it easier for him to get up on, or down from, the couch. the protection is great; I’m about to order one for his dog bed as well to throw over it, give him a better grip getting in and out, and protect the hard-to-remove-and-wash cover. Our cats also love these mats, often lying down on them. We may end up using smaller ones for the cats as they age, too.

Pretty and soft, not as absorbent as I’d like
I had a similar rug for years that eventually just started to get musty. I replaced it with this and while I love the color and style, it is slightly thinner than my other chenille rug. It’s also less absorbent. I know it’s hard having teens who shower but this rug almost always feels like it has a sopping wet spot somewhere on it. With the other rug (but same sloppy teenagers), I didn’t have this issue.Aside from that the rug is quite nice. No shedding, very comfortable to step onto, nice rubber backing (doesn’t slide around) and fits in the area I need it to. I just wish it absorbed more water or dried more quickly. It did machine wash and dry up just fine for those wondering.If you don’t have messy teenagers who get water everywhere in your bathroom, this could be a very nice rug for you!

Works Great as Cat Litter Mat!
I read that these types of chenille mats would be effective at catching litter. I have cats that enjoy seeing just how far they can kick their wheat-based litter out of the litter box. While this mat doesn’t reach far enough to catch their “Home Runs”, it does a great job at catching litter from their feet as they walk out of the litter box. Because of its placement under the litter box AND in the bathroom, it was essential to me that the mat would be machine washable. It has proven to be extremely durable and easily washed in a standard laundromat front loading washer, as well as drying quickly in the dryer on low. The mat itself is very attractive and fits perfectly in the bathroom. It is extremely soft under your feet and easily shakes out all caught litter when I scoop their litter every day.

Protects my sofa from muddy paws
I have 2 sets of these to cover the seats of my LoveSac sofa. I also have the next larger size to cover the hassock. They protect the sofa from muddy paws & mostly stay in place. I also use them on the floor in front of the door. When my oldest German Shepherd developed incontinence, I used one atop several folded blankets, so he has a comfy place to lie down. I couldn’t wash just one of these at a time. My washing machine does not allow me to stop the machine mid-cycle and redistribute a load. The first time I tried washing just one rug by itself the washer did not spin out and I had to wring the sopping rug by hand. Now I wash 2 rugs at a time or add towels and other things for balance. Versatile rugs. They would work on a car seat too. So far, they have washed and dried well, and the backing is fine. This rug also stays put on the floor, unless you have a puppy who thinks it’s a great toy. The rugs are soft and like other things that are supposed to absorb liquid, I do not add fabric softener when I wash them.

Hides and keeps water underneath the rug,
It’s very pretty and soft But it hides and keeps water under the rug and the top stays dry, the only thing, the water stays under the rug. if you put it in your kids’ room check under the rug for water it’s there.
